As a new fan to Rosé and Blackpink their Netflix documentary Light up the Sky is a must watch it will show you so much about who they are where they came from how hard they work.

Rosé is the most talented well multi talented member in her group tho all of them are talented too. But when it comes to Rosé she has wide range vocally, she's a great dancer. She plays multiple instruments, she's very creative like from painting, drawing, designing, And bc she's a kiwi, she was born in new zealand & moved in Australia when she was 7 she's most comfortable talking & singing in English, she started in KPOP being not fluent in Korean, she literally studied the language & culture but the way she sings in Korean seems like it's her mother tongue but it's not. She conveys the message of the song through her singing voice to her listeners. She's also called as one of the most kind artist in Korea or in Western, she became friends with people she met for the first time, like Olivia Rodrigo, Stella Maxwell, Sophia Richie & many more ❤️ And the fact that she belongs to a family of lawyers, (her dad & sister are both lawyer. her granda is a judge) it's actually amazing that they fully supported her career and passion for music ❤️

The guitarist is Zai Ro and Jeong Dong-Hwan is on keyboards. They accompany Rose' and all the other performers on every Sea of Hope performance. He is Onew from the kpop group SHINee and she is Lee Suhyun of the brother/sister duet AKMU. The cool thing about the If I Ain't Got You performance is that Suhyun picked it out of a book seconds before they began to sign. If you noticed, Rose' had to look up the lyrics on her phone. When Rose' finishes singing she looks back at Onew with a look that says 'did I do ok'? and he gives her 2 thumbs up. Sea of Hope produced lots of amazing performances and I'm hopeful there will be a season 2 next summer.
