Rosa rides the Carousel of Happiness in Nederland, CO. This complex and wonderful treasure has 56 animals carved by local artist, Scott Harrison, that have been mounted on a carousel mechanism that was originally built in 1910. Housed in a beautiful building that was constructed largely by volunteers, it opened to the public on Memorial Day in 2010 to the delight of all who see it, ride on it, hear its music, and feel its magic. It is a testament to the power of good intentions to create happiness!

A note about Rosa's attire. It is hand-stitched and smocked linen, made in the style of dress appropriate to the era circa 1910.
