This is my favourite song of all her repertoire. I love the voice, the energy, the mix of haunting and dancing. I have it in my playlist and in high rotation. She did this song live mix with malamente at the EMAs 2018. In my opinion one of her best performances... So that is my request ;)

Rosalia’s album is about a toxic relationship based on a 14th century novel called Flamenca . In chapters 2, 3 and 4 the songs come from the point of view of “the man of the relationship" In this chapter of her album, the protagonist of the story is mistreated by her husband, that man full of anger (on fire) who has her locked up at home (the mill). But in the video, she faces him (looks at her attitude towards the wolf she shares a table with) and abandons him. It’s at this point that the harrowing physical abuse happens with her “Eh, ehs”, representing hits or punches. There is a cost to trying to escape an abusive relationship. The video ends with her casting a backwards eye through the rear-view mirror watching her partner being consumed by the flames of anger. The gasoline lake also symbolizes the danger in which she has been trapped, increasingly sunk in it. There is always symbology in her videos, and more in those of that conceptual album which is "El mal querer". Yeah the song doesn’t follow the “normal” structure of a song you hear on the radio. In this chapter she reaches a climax in the story were she’s had enough that’s why she gets lower and lower in the pool of motor oil and when the man comes into the building it explodes and she gets on the bike. The claps in the second half of the song represents the man physically abusing her. The lyrics are also from the point of view from the man in the abusive relationship. I personally don’t listen to this song on its own I really only listen to it when I plan on listening to the entire album.

This is her most experimental song. Its the 4th chapter of her album El Mal Querer. The album tells the story of a toxic and abussive relationship, this chapter shows how the husband beats up his wife, thats why this song is so aggressive and has the screams at the end

The way I see it, this song is kind of a transition in her album El Mal Querer. It reflects the change in her soul, from an harmonic beginning to a rebellious mood when she leaves her toxic lover.

Hi man, from Spain here. As they said in comments and you said it. This is a chapter in the series, lol.! it's the concept and context of the story, and the album. This is actually her fav track. The engine and motor sounds, add to the idea of the agressive nature of the moment she is describing in that particular journey. The man saying You won't get out of here, as he threatens her. Motorbikes are a theme as she's faminliar with them, is in her family as well. You have to listen to the whole El Mal Querer album to get the full picture. The whole album is a story about a bad romance, and this song in particular is about him being violent with her, like the title means: you are not going out from here. But she escapes in the end so she is angry and furious with the situation so she burns everything like fuck you 😂
