She is a medium for emotions. It doesn't matter what she sings she injects you that emotion, no matter the amount of instruments or production you will feel what she wants you to feel. She is mind blowing. Hope you enjoy the discovery of her work, I would suggest start with El Mal Querer in order... Would be nice to see your experience but I strongly suggest that you do it for your own personal enjoyment.

Welcome to Rosalia's world (warning: she is SO addictive) I reccomend you De Plata (directo Sevilla) or Aunque es de noche (the official video). These two are flamenco style, but she is very versatile, and touches other genres (trap, regueatton, urban...), but this will be chapter 2... 😉

ROSALÍA tiene una gran voz, entrenada y versátil. Sus raíces, como bien han dicho antes, son el flamenco (en este sentido te recomiendo "De plata" directo Sevilla y "Aunque es de noche") pero también hace flamenco trap ( "Malamente" "pienso en tu mirá" "Di mi nombre") o incluso pop urbano o reggaeton ("Con altura" "Relación Remix (con Sech, Daddy Yankee, J. He escuchado Cuando yo me muera de Manolo Caracol, y lo más que me sorprende es como Rosalía mantiene la conexión con el pasado pero al mismo tiempo vuela libre. En la garganta de Rosalía el cante jondo es un recién nacido. Ese es el verdadero milagro.

This is one of my favourite songs from her. She not only has an amazing voice but the ability to embody the music itself to transmit those emotions. I've noticed many have already recommended "De Plata" to you but please watch the live version in Seville first. The live performance is incredible and I feel like the soul of the song is lost in the video version.

Love her! I think she has a very long career ahead of her. Rosalia is controversial in Spain (i.e. the Flamenco community) because she uses many traditional Flamenco elements in her music and many think this is appropriation. I happen to love her music--hip hop, trap, and "modern Flamenco"! Check out her album Los Angles and her latest El Mal Querer; songs: Malamente, Juro Que, and Aute Cuture.

This is AWESOME!! She's incredible and hearing her voice make me think of Amy Lee with Evanescence . DANG gorgeous sweet kind funny classical pianists rocker chick from California and they are just finishing up another album. Amy leave 24 year old brother died a couple years ago from epilepsy and this album is basically lyrics and a lot of it's coming from how she felt at the time and I just heard the song in the video " Use my voice"!!!!! WOWWWWW! I have heard so much of their music since 2002 and just when you think they can't get any better it's bam right in the face. this voice is absolutely phenomenal and there's something about her vocals didn't remind me very very much of Amy Lee. 💞💞 if this girl isn't the store she should be Thank You!! you are the only KZfaqr that does reactions I've noticed who did a reaction or a few to LAURA FABIAN, and she's wonderful. she had one pretty popular song in America back in 2000 'I will love again" .. it was enough to interest me to go get the CD and she's fabulous. I have my music collection of Enya and Laura Fabian and then I listen to my Amy Lee Evanescence. Thanks!!

After hearing Me Quedo Contigo you will not believe the rest of her music! Nothing is the same. She writes, composes and produces her music as well as having a major say in all the imagery in her videos (which have loads of symbolism). She is from Barcelona but her roots are flamenco but her music is unique! WOW!! She sounds like a cross between Selena Gomez and Amy Lee at about the age of 14 or 15 years old and it's so beautiful)💞 Evanescence does bring me back to life and my immortal. My Immortal is enough to make you majorly depressed because it's so beautiful and angelic. " Call Me When You're Sober"😂😂 " I'm Going Under'!!!! absolutely awesome songs and they've got so many but that's just a hand-picked few.
