Reminds me of a brawl my team got into once. We were up 4-0 so the other team started a fight. We all ran off the field, but they forced both teams to forfeit... costing us the win and the chance to play in the final... later we found out 8 players on the other team were actually too old to be in the tournament. 2 had criminal records.
@TheGImmick772 жыл бұрын
that sucks man we were lucky in my tourney we won our last game and squeaked into first place, but the game before the opposing team drafted over age guys who were semi-pro and were clearly way too skilled to be in our league. What's funny is they only won by 1 point (score 2-3) karma prevailed and we won but that s**t happens sometimes and needs to stop.

@frpgplayer3 жыл бұрын
Actually, as a referee, if it's two players and you can stop/prevent it, fine. In mass confrontation, the referees back out and let the players deal with it. The three man system (and 2) basically take up positions (a triangular view) to watch and take numbers. Anyone entering the field from the benches earns a yellow card each for unsporting behavior (entering the field of play without referee consent is given to players, not substitutes or substituted players. UB is the YC definition). Coaches are disciplined equally for entering the field of play. Outside agents are removed/ejected from the premises. After melee is sorted out, the center referee confers with the ARs and cards issued as needed. Mass confrontation is a pain trying to get numbers.

@forzajuve48458 ай бұрын
I personally loveeeeeee and prefer a one man system . all refs ref with different styles. if your AR's don't fit your style, it's a long day. some refs let too much go and some refs don't let the play flow . many young college refs allow the players to kill each other by yelling " play on " or "nothing there" too much when they should be cracking down on the roughness .

I remember thinking that the high school level was a high level when I just started playing in high school and when I was there, I saw that really no, with how much they train the level is very low, very physical but good touch game never, position 4-4-2 the most basic, the youth league where I played in Mexico without training we had more level, arriving from Mexico two years later I was varsity and only because my first year I didn't go to tryouts. Third division and in Mexico it is a higher level And that you do not play on such good fields, or balls like that.
@goated6146 Жыл бұрын
Yeah youre right high school soccer is really low level honestly. Especially considering how demanding the training is. It seems like the coaches here just aren't very good. The reason you see them getting bodied all the time and it's super physical is because they don't really know what to do with the ball so they linger on it for way too long. This is down to poor coachng in my opinion, coaches in the US lack tactical knowledge to make the game easier for their players.
@Raul-nx1dq8 ай бұрын
@@goated6146 It's true, When I was a kid, those who played in the academies or who aspired to be division one usually did not play in high school, since we have rules that you cannot play or train anywhere else. During the season, I did not understand until later that in academies and competitive teams you have double the opportunities and level of play, playing in high school is a nice experience, You experience a little of what it would be like to be a professional but the level is low, it bothered me a lot as I was a left or central defender and sometimes a forward 9, That the game was always long balls, they wanted that every ball that I had was a long ball, that wouldn't even reach the forward. I never like that when I was playing semipro, and Watching videos of coaches in Europe they always saw shooting the ball nowhere as a last resort, There was always talk about playing and putting together the play and more because I had to grow up when the Barcelona del tikitaka

This is actually a good level of physical contact aside from the fight and shoulder checks. Some defenders don't fight hard enough to protect the ball I've never gotten a card for simply turning my back on a player that has the ball and using it to bump him off and steal the ball, sometimes in a rough way causing them to fall over or get pushed back, u can be as physical as you want to in Soccer u just have to do it in a legal way.

@holmj123 жыл бұрын
@@RosalesFilmss Thanks, glad you record the games. I typed #4 and meant #5, hence the edit. I used to just delete comments so I wouldn't edit them since last year you accused me of lying and editing a comment even though I just changed the grammar/misspelling. I mostly do the commentary/analysis for myself as practice to go through the thought process as a referee so when I'm reffing a game, I can go through the process quickly so I make a decision decisively and correctly.

@@RosalesFilmss also did the referees end up showing cards to players? Did they play out the rest of the game or was it terminated/abandoned from that point?

#5 was just defending himself though. You’re just going to let a whole team punch you like a punching bag ? 👀
@holmj123 жыл бұрын
@@jimbooo5713 while self defense is a US legal system argument, self defense is not in the rules of soccer. If you don't want a red, you take the punches and run away and/or hope teammates and others hold back people that are punching you.

Right i mean no offence to any of the players however im english and would like give small review of the match as a whole, i feel that non of these players would make it higher than non league football yes there high school kids but the coaching seems off as defence is at 6 and 7 not in a line trying play out without real purpose from both teams making silly errors and panic when they made the errors, the goals show how the defence hasnt been trained by not closing down and committing to blocking shots, heading away on corners was good but could of been up the pitch or use more force get it out over the touchline so ball was less likely come right back in, attack seems ok from both sides the red i would rarther they cross balls in instead of shooting from a bad angle plus turn more players as the strikers have good ball control they just need use that to there benefit back into the defender and turn inside to get the shots off, the main problem is the fact players are not looking up to see whos in the space early enough, receive the ball look up see whats around as a good team makes space communicates well and are able teka taka round better, goalkeepers i have say are very sit back sort now to show how good you are back there command the back lines command the area also dont go flying into crossed balls if its coming at pace as you will miss it, the ref and lines men i have say made some interesting decisions to say the least some challenges where fair and given as free kicks some blatant free kicks was waved away back pass to keeper in first half wasnt given there was a goal that looked offside wasnt given, then moving onto the ending fair tackle white player over reacts and handbags both teams didnt help the situation best thing is to get the team mate out of situation and if in the situation dont do anything stupid like putting hands on the player let them get into trouble and play with the advantage than lose player also, this is a opinion on this game alone and could of been a off day all round for both sides so hope no one takes to heart
