Agree w/lots774 - just got my pair yesterday. Wearing them now. Break in was easy, some good quality leather conditioner, hand flexing then wore them for a few hours around the house. Ttook the dogs on a hike this morning-just a few miles-no rubbing no hotspots. They are my favorite boots now. Going to buy another pair in fudge. Jim Green, never stop making these, I will be wearing them until I die.

I ordered a pair not too long ago. Still waiting on arrival. Seeing just how much human skill goes into these is both thrilling and terrifying. Knowing that there was so much freehand work done with so much room for mistakes is a craft and a nightmare at the same time! I imagine you throw away or donate boots with imperfections, but it's still crazy just how much humans do and how the machines are only there to help them!

I know these guys are skilled craftsmen, but still I flinch every time I see a finger come anywhere near a sewing machine needle. These videos give one a real appreciation of the amount of material and labor that it takes to construct a single boot, and therefore the value you receive in exchange for the money you expend in a purchase. My regular Rangers are delayed in the mail, really looking forward to their arrival.

These are my next boot

Ive been wearing mine for a couple weeks now. I do tree work, clearing power line ROW near the gulf coast in the United States. Ive been wanting a zero drop boot that will hold up to the abuse and these are perfect. They are the most comfortable boots ive worn and if they hold up as well as my razorbacks or ar8s, i will be buying another pair. I love these boots.

Your workers are artists, I've been enjoying watching these ASMR style construction videos for each boot. Certainly shows the craftwork put into each pair. I'm curious how the zero drop AR are perceived there, are people enjoying them in the terrain out there?

The leather looks so soft and malleable! I'm sure they would feel like butter on the feet... would love to try on a pair for sure!

I bought two pair of the barefoot boot two months ago. I switch between the boots to make sure they get dry from the sweat of my feet. I have to do a lot of walking in the morning dew. I know that’s not good. I’ve tried a lot of waxes and polishes but the only one I use now. Is Kiwi brown shoe polish I can get a high luster shine and it keeps the morning dew from coming through the leather . I am a satisfied customer.

Now just to decide on which color to start with as I have a feeling I will want both.

Got my pre-order yesterday (January 9). Really happy with them so far. They are going into rotation with my old Russell Moccasin Thula Thulas. These are lighter and more flexible. If they last anywhere near as long as the Russells, these will be an incredible bargain.

I got my pair of these a few weeks ago and really really like them. I’ve wanted a zero drop, minimalist, good ground feel boot for a while. And when I say boot, I mean a real boot. You have delivered that and I am thankful. With that, I would like to share my feedback on two aspects of the Barefoot Ranger. First, these boots have a slight “clown shoe” feel. If you could cut the sole just a little closer to the welt I think it would make a big improvement in the aesthetics. Second, in a short boot like this I would like to see all eyelets, no speed hooks. These boots can be worn loosely with no laces at all. With all eyelets it gives the option to tie a knot in the ends of the shoe laces so the boots can be worn loose but the laces are still contained. If you made the boots like that, I’d buy pairs in every color you made available.

I also need a pair. Braking in my first pair of OG Rangers now and put in a preorder for the barefoot yesterday.
