Can we just appreciate that she is counting 1 to 8 across two bars of music, for a dance that is counted 1,2,3 - 5,6,7 in one bar of music, and getting the syncopated steps right, plus committing to lifts that look terrifying. The amount of mental work the girl is doing, plus the trust she has in Giovanni , is brilliant. Lovely hip action, I enjoyed this.

I love Giovanni and Rose so much for a number of reasons. In all the series we’ve ever had of this show I have never seen such an authentic, pure, beautifully connected, moving, tender & warm partnership. What elevates this pairing above everyone else is the emotion and passion they bring, it is completely captivating and so pure. What they have you can’t teach. They just have IT. This ability to melt your heart and transport you into their performance that you just want it to continue. I love Rose she is such a beautiful soul, an intelligent, stunning, sassy and charming young woman and she dances with so much grace, elegance and confidence. It is so inspiring watching her dance and proving you can achieve anything if you put your mind to it. That we aren’t defined and limited by disabilities but can blossom in-spite of them and find a different even better way of doing things, it has totally opened my eyes and mind and has made me want to learn to sign and be able to communicate and connect in that language. She is talented, hard working and just a total delight, the behind the scene footage of them are always so joyful and sweet. I love how we’ve seen Giovanni in a way we have never seen him before- his partnership with Rose has bought out this warm, more relaxed, vulnerable, funnier, softer and more sweet side of him. The strength in their partnership really translates on the dance floor, it never looks forced, it always looks natural and effortless. I am blown away from this pairing and their performances warm my heart and give me joy. So it won’t be a surprise that I of course want them to win and thank them for the stunning performances they have given us thus far

I wasn’t familiar with Rose before Strictly, but her and Giovanni have become one of my favourite couples, such an amazing partnership. Rose is so sweet and I thought she nailed this salsa! Plus she looked stunning 💖

She is SO good, I’m absolutely living for this girl giving her all when there’s an extra challenge for her! If she can just get her posture a little better and her steps a bit lighter, she’ll definitely make the final because I’m certain she will neaten up as time goes on!

Shirley severely underscored her both weeks. She is seemingly discriminative against Rose. I'd like to see Shirley dance something like this, even with the ability to hear the music. For goodness sake, both weeks the dances were terrific and Rose danced amazingly without being able to hear the music, beat and only through sign language. And she was on time in both, and had to dance on her own for a part whilst still being in time. She is a contender despite the fact that she is at the greatest disadvantage out of all this year's contestants, and probably ever in strictly history. Also the fact her balance is extremely perfect in both performances despite having little to no hearing is probably an incredibly tough skill to master. She will definitely be a dancer we will all remember. I can't wait to see Rose go far. Bravo 👏 👏 👏

I think she did amazingly well, it was perfect and it’s incredible to imagine she is doing this without hearing the music. Her hip work and all the terrifying lifts were perfect. She really trusts herself and her partner. Id love to see her win this.

She is going to go from strength to strength, and I love this partnership! Giovanni does not go easy on her, he sees her determination to do well and pushes her. I want to see her do a beautiful slow routine next week so she can really focus on that technique. I also think the judges are extra harsh on her - I get they don’t want her to feel different so still critique her but some of their comments are unnecessarily nitpicky. It’s only week two!

Score: *6.5* Well ROSE a nice SPICY salsa!! BETTER THAN LAST WEEK! I felt like Gio didn't play safe this week, granted it was still some safeness, but not throughout the entire routine. Lovely hip rotations, lifts were clean, going in and out of them was okay, could have been better in some cases. But I like how Rose was giving us ROSE!! Personality is key and I felt that she gave that tonight. Keep it up Rose and Gio, definitely on the right track!!

Wow! I can't believe this is only week 2! That was amazing.

This dance is way much better than last week, it was so so good! I love the lifts, wow! This dance was enjoyable to watch. I love how Rose did the lovely hip actions, making herself looked sassy and sexy. I really enjoyed this performance! She was so improved since their Jive last week but I think it’s probably one of their best dance so far because she had such a good improvement and it’s only week 2! However, maybe I would like to see a little bit more fluidity and her legs seems like she was a bit stomping but other than that, she improved and the judge’s scores are under marked. My Score: 7

She appears to be very flexible, the armography was great, the lifts were great and the side by side 8 rotation in the hips was all good. For me the lifts got in the way with the flow which caused it to look a little clunky and too big. She didn't get down to the ground enough it would have helped if she would have really got low and bent the knees to get the snake fludity as you are allowed bent knees in Salsa and the arms were a little wooden at the start but by the end she soon fixed that and gave it finesse. Alot of solo work here which is amazing and she has good rhythm. I'd say it's better than last week and that she has alot of potential, but it seems anyone who dances with Giovanni has potential lol ^.^ *7/10*

Is this Jay Magennis” greatest hits night? This of course was what Jay danced to in the Blackpool special. Think Rosie is getting extremely difficult dances considering how she has to learn. I don’t blame that she needs to mouth her counting the tempo. The changes of tempo in a salsa make it more tricky for her to pick up the choreo hence she was out in time in parts also those lifts were so brave! Think she’s doing a very good job personally! More energy and more technique in her hips then she can go far 6!

I’m in America and when my notifications popped up I got so happy. Lots of fabulous couples this season. Glad Anton is a judge, he’s wonderful. Rose is THE SWEETEST young lady. She’s so impressive. Being on the two biggest shows in the UK and doing so bloody well Please vote and keep her in this for the long haul! As for Strictly, it’s VASTLY superior to DWTS in the US. Our single host Tyra Banks is just sub par. Her energy is a total mismatch. Tess and Claudia are MAGICAL. When Claudia hands it back to Tess after the scores it gives me life. I find myself shouting Tess along with her. I’m so glad I can watch with my VPN on my Streaming device / TV.

7 Loved this! Lots of energy and rhythm which is of course extremely impressive. I agreed with the judge's comments on fluidity. Rose just needs to continue the movement from her upper to lower body and keep every move flowing into the next as this was just a little bit stop-and-start at times but i'm sure that's more difficult for her.

her enthusiasm and effort is infectious...she's adorable...i wonder if she can hear anything at all because she seems to be enjoying the whole experience. without hearing the music how could it be enjoyable? it's a bit like a blind person going to see a movie..same sort of thing.

The upper body and leg work is much improved from the jive last week. Still needs to pay much more attention to the foot work to get the whole body working together to make the movements feel a lot easier and natural. Lifts were impressive but needed softer, more fluid dismounts. 6

Could I see her counting? I like her, once she starts getting the technique down and increasing her strength and stamina it will really start clicking. Wonder what it's like for her when they're all talking together in a group... I suppose she lip reads?

Oh! I have to apologise a bit to Rose here. Bless her, what an improvement. She is so sweet and coping great. She just needs to give it a lot more energy, but she's getting her bearings. But what an improvement! I applaud Gio for giving it more daring choreography. No longer playing it safe. I was afraid the concessions made for Rose's sign language may have a bit of an emphasis that it would drag her down, but no! It was lacking in the first part, but the latter proved me wrong. She just needs to go for it more. Hopefully that won't get in the way of her counting in her head and all. Hope she can get more confident enough to put more energy in it. Kid has potential. Can't wait to see her grow. I would probably give a third 7 to her score, but it's fair. Now, uh... that last lift... Hopefully they are... properly acquainted... 🙈

I was a bit bored in some parts of this dance but she has great rhythm and i thought she was not afraid of the lifts which were great aswell. 5/10

Rose's feel for the music never cease to amaze me, she is so right on the beat, her synchronicity with Giovanni is incredible and she moves naturally and freely. However, technically, it was weak (though better then her jive). Salsa is most of all about the hips. Salsa is about settling into the hips and constantly making the figure eight with the hips. Unfortunately, rose danced the whole dance with both of her legs bent (and her steps were too big as well). For those reasons, she didn't manage to produce (hardly) any hip rotation. The fun was there and the timing was there but the quality of movement, the precision and the technicality were missing. The dismounts from the lift were slow as well. The dynamics of the salsa and it's characteristics in terms of body action can only be achieved by making small steps and straightening the moving leg and settling into the hips. That was missing completely in Rose's dancing. Next week she has the hardest ballroom dance of all, the foxtrot, and I really hope she is gonna work on some technical fundamentals and on understanding the basic concepts of the body action needed. My score: a 5.

I get the feeling that Shirley does not like her she was the same with Gorka partner last season l forget her name she kept undermarking her she is in EE she was only 16 years old she should have won the trophy,Rose and Giovani are brilliant it is only the second week , there was a lot of over marking going on for personality not actual dancing Shirley was in cooking with the stars the black girl l don't know her name was in it too she is friends with quite a few of them Dan is awful she gives him so much praise, giovani is my favourite dancer l have noticed he seems to be croutching a lot when he is dancing l dont know why it dont look good, Giovani please get rid of the beard even your hair looks awful it makes you look 10 years older come on Italian stallion l hardly recognise you.
