Since this is a Tutorial..the simple fact is we need to learn. The darker tones u use..what shades are they? Are they a combinstion of shades? Which is the brush u use..which gives a dark shade to underline depth? There are so many questions..if u cd have a separate video just teaching how to create and blend shades..it would be so helpful.

Can you explain how did you lift the color? Mine doesn’t work well. Does it need to be a special paper?

Use clean and moist brush to make several brush strokes in the area where you want to lift out the watercolor.
