Megyn Kelly

Megyn Kelly

Күн бұрын

Megyn Kelly begins the show by addressing the breaking news about a supposed "near catastrophic" paparazzi car chase in NYC involving Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, their history of exaggerating the danger they're in, and more. Then legendary comedian and actress Roseanne Barr joins to talk about how her hit TV show focused on a part of America often ignored, insider details of the way producers tried to control her and change the show, the betrayal by her co-stars and friends causing her TV show reboot cancelation, the awful way the show "killed off" her character, what she told co-star Sara Gilbert after Gilbert tried to publicly ruin her reputation, the toxicity of Hollywood, overcoming cancel culture, choosing adoption over abortion, growing up and the tragic circumstances early in her life, getting her start in comedy and her biggest break, and more. Plus Megyn reveals breaking news about who is expected to get Tucker Carlson's 8pm Fox News slot.

Lost 2 lifetime friends for seeing the good in Trump and trying to point out the setup and lopsided narrative interpretation of every move he made . So obvious it was because he knew where all the bodies were buried and for many Democrats the jig was up and the others too scared to lose their goodies and ego trips of being elected and "select".

You know the whole situation reminds me of Valerie Harper and her series, Valerie. Some can argue that she lost that role because she was making too much money. They can say whatever they want, but when it came down to it, they felt that the show could do OK without her and they would save all that money. This whole thing with Rosanne is exactly the same thing. They bought her entire work from her for not a huge sum of money, and the only reason she did that was because of all the people who were making a living off that show. When you think of it, it really does begin to bother you that these people fell right into this trap. Go right ahead, thinking that it was that tweet, and not the money that she was making, because I would argue that if that weren’t true, they would’ve given her a fair price for her continuous work on that series, including the reboot. They gave her almost nothing. I also think it’s kind of weird that in her defense she said I didn’t know The Bitch was black. I guess it’s OK to say rude things about white people. Don’t Read too much into it, I just thought it was interesting.

It was WONDERFUL to see your active listening skills letting her voice her experiences, and even "wander around" with her thoughts (I think we do that more often as we get older, as our brains are like Computer software where almost 100% of the MEMORY Space is FULL. We get distracted with tangents, etc. but THEY are interesting TOO!!) It really warmed my heart to see this appreciative back and forth between you, and to hear Roseanne speak about how her FAITH has been the most powerful source of HEALING for her. Roseanne is a comedian. Not every joke is a winner, but they are just jokes. What Roseanne said about that Valerie woman was an attempt at a joke. Dave Chappell and Chris Rock say racist things all of the time and they get a full pass. Also, Roseanne got an unfair shake when she sang. “The Star Spangled Banner”. She was doing a bit by spitting and grabbing her crotch like baseball players do, and she sang badly on purpose because she is not a singer she is a comedian. Remember how outraged everyone was? I never understood why no one cared about Roseanne’s feelings. I mean really….the piling up on Roseanne hurt my heart. It wasn’t that big of a deal that she had to be a target for everyone’s outrage. SHE WAS DOING A BIT based on her character on “Roseanne”. I remember Roseanne’s face when someone told her that President George Bush 41 said the performance was shameful and the look on Roseanne’s face was heartbreaking. She didn’t mean to hurt anyone, but boy did everyone jump on her.

@@soso8824 so your entire existence and everything good you have done for people over a 40 year period should be erased over a tweet? Okay so pretty much all of us should no longer exist because I’m sure if we take the time to dissect every single thing that each of us has ever said, we are going to find things that would cancel us all.

I'm so glad Rosanne isn't taking the mobs crap and standing up against cancel culture. So many celebrities float down the woke culture current or kiss it's ass for the sake of not being canceled or they actually believe the crap thats being pushed. Its refreshing and encouraging to watch Rosanne speak out against the woke culture mob and government because we need this more now than ever. We need people to be brave and stand up against this crap.

I have never been more disappointed and disgusted with an actor than I was with Sara Gilbert. She threw Roseanne under the bus for her own preening self-interest. Greed, jealousy and desire for control seemed to run roughshod over any semblance of human kindness…not to mention loyalty. I stopped watching Roseanne, as well as The Talk because she makes me sick.

Thank you for interviewing Roseanne to let her tell her side of the story. I knew it wasn't what Sarah Gilbert claimed. I think it sucks that people in Hollywood used her the way they did. From Tom Arnold to that whole cast she worked with on Roseanne. They all should be ashamed. You don't bite the hand that feeds you. I'm team Roseanne and screw the rest of The Connors. They stole her show and her life's story. I will not watch the Connors, screw them.

What an awesome interview! Love that Megyn Kelly gave her the respect that Roseanne’s former cast members, social media and the media couldn’t bother to do for this legend. And they didn’t cancel her because of the tweet. They used that as an excuse. They were looking for something to cancel her over because she supported Trump. That’s the bottom line. Because those extreme liberals have done far worse and we’re left alone.

Well, the real point being she's a Jew. The Jews are God's chosen people. Thats why you have antisemitism - because people are jealous of the Jews but can't put their finger on why. It's because all sinners are at emnity with God so they will be at enmity with God's chosen people. Roseanne desires truth and defends Israel. Being a Trump supporter is a bi-product of that. But it's because of what Trump did for Israel. That's why they were against him and his supporters. They thought that by cancelling her, they could somehow make the Truth go away.

Hollywood is so corrupt. Sad about what happened to her show but glad she’s out of that toxic environment. Kudos to her. All of the cast members really stabbed her in the back and the new show is a complete joke. I don’t know how each and every one of them can sleep at night without feeling guilt or shame of banking on her fortune after she was the one who gave them theirs in the first place. Brainless, soulless Hollywood robots. Pathetic.
