Hey family i remember learning about how school kids earned money to pick rosehips in war times so they could make the rosehip syrup. I was blown away by the vitamin c content. Fascinating facts. Itchy bums 🤣🤣. We cant wait to make rosehip syrup ready for winter. Thanks for sharing!

@@homeiswhereourheartis i think they will. I don't know if i told you but we found over 30 apples in the grass, the landlord didnt pick any apples and all the damsons have shrivelled up. Caleb was like how could they not pick everything. So we took the apples and found some pear and we are gonna make the leather sweets and a crumble

Fantastic video and music at the end. I recently discovered that rosehips grow on trails that I walk every week here in British Columbia. I didn't know what they where until I looked it up online and discovered what I have been missing this whole time. I already see myself using them in desserts and teas.

just a personal assumption: The inside of the rosehip fruit is hairy. Inside the small intestines are fine hairs that are vital for nutrient absorption. Do you know of any other plant that has feathers in it? Rosehip can be an excellent food for the small intestines. The small intestine is responsible for the absorption of vitamins. Rosehip is a high source of vitamin C. Rosehip can improve the vitamin absorption of the small intestine.
