Excellent interview and Rosemary being as truthfull as she can. Del Newman made an album with her in the late 70's.

Such a heart-warming show but it was Rosemary that conquered me with her candour and splendid anecdotes. . Sonya proved to be the most sympathetic and charming interviewer. Rosemary is gone now but certainly not forgotten. RIP

If you see a Sonya show aired from 1982-1983 and you see a Girl Scout troop--I was in there. :)

I’m not a big fan of this kind of daytime programming but this is good. Sonya is obviously very intelligent. I don’t see this kind of candor in talk shows today. Good one.

Once again I am grateful to Alan Eichler for finding and posting this interview. I have just finished reading Rosemary's memoir "Girl Singer" which touched me and many others with its candor, integrity, faith and love.

Rosemary Clooney was so beautiful. I really admire what she said about aging. You should try to embrace it because time doesn’t stop for anyone. She had a beautiful voice her music is such a joy to listen to. She still looks good here even though she did put on a lot of weight later in life.

Did Rosemary .... Really have a Nervous Breakdown ...... Or was it Panic Anxiety Attack's .....
@tonyd94555 жыл бұрын
Yes she did. She said in an interview that the nervous breakdown was brought on when Bobby Kennedy was shot. She was there that evening.

@@tonyd9455 Panic Attacks/Anxiety Attacks were not known back then. I know, because I began having them in 1982 and no doctor understood what was happening to me. It wasn't until 1992 that people started learning about them, and now it's common knowledge. So I tend to think that's what they used to call nervous breakdowns.

She also claimed he wasn't really shot and ended up in a psyche ward !?!
