Now 17 year old Chelsea, on the other hand, makes the 17 year me I remember being, seem as though I was at the extreme end of the autism spectrum, both developmentally and verbally challenged, and should have been in special ed. I want to agree with you but Rosie sent her texts that read "you suck" and "life is so much better without you" and more nasty texts. I think that is abusive and shouldn't been said to a daughter. I know Chelsea is no angel in this but she is only 18, very confused, and no matter what, a mother should never allow herself to be hateful to her daughter. Good luck Chelsea.

Elzy Arnold I was adopted by a woman that just wanted the status quo of a son and daughter. She literally suffered with severe mental illness. Anyway, my adoptive mother started sleeping around and got pregnant with my junior brother, then my baby brother. My older brother and I were nothing more then a responsibility after that. Not everyone that adopts is a hero. Some do it for selfish reasons, maybe she never bonded with Chelsea, that happens too. Have you ever read Rosie's first autobiography? Yeah...she has a lot of dark scars.
