Chandler's right this game is more of a mindtrick. Once you get to like 45 you start repeating states and you start thinking you already wrote a state down that you didn't. It would be easier to grade.

One of the reasons I love Ross, and tolerate his bad moments, is shown here. Yes he is entitled and full of himself…..but it ALWAYS came back on him. Which made for many funny scenes and episodes. This is one of them.

Let me explain, the word entitled means that u think u deserve something without working for it, ross has rarely shown that he thinks he is smart or anything but even if he did he worked hard for it and earned a phd which his friends constantly make fun of. Ross has only confidence in his academics doesn't mean he is full of himself. By that logic even joey is full of himself as he is confident in his ability to pick girls and mocks Ross and chandler as they can't. Someone who is actually full of herself is Phoebe as she even said to monica and rachel "if we were in jail u guys would my bitches".

@@lopave6maybe thats the American education and culture, where most peoples like common peoples, dislike smart educated peoples. Not relatable to those nerdy smart yet rigid serious type, bully them even. A culture thing to automatically biased about their normal behavior and attitude, think its arrogant. But in reality just normal responds to mistake corrections. Contrastly much more relatable to less educated but fun socialble interesting peoples. Since most people upbringing are the exact "happy education". Some feeling of jealous? Therefore laugh at their misery?

To be fair, Delaware is a very small state on a map (still not as small as Rhode Island though). Sure, you can learn the 50 states, but learning both the states and their capitals in one go thanks to Wakko Warner is the way to go in elementary school. Also, 56? Joey listed not just the main 50, but also DC and the five unincorporated territories! Impressive.

The only thing South Dakota is known for is Mount Rushmore (named Six Grandfathers by the Lakota; which was taken by military force from the Lakota despite the Treaty of Fort Laramie granting the Lakota the Black Hills in perpetuity), and unless you like Fargo...North Dakota is nothing. My favorite state is Florida. Not just because of the misadventures of almighty Florida Man and the fact Shrek allows him to live in his swamp, but I'm also a big Disney fan and been to Disneyland Paris on a trip to France while I was living in Switzerland, so I want to visit the other Disney parks around the world. While I've been to China, I've yet to visit Shanghai and Hong Kong to hit up those Disney parks.

As a kid I memorized how many states start with each letter. A has 4, B has 0, C has 3, etc. For some reason that was easy and now I can name them all in less than a minute if I go in order. Helpful to remember that there are 8 m's 8 n's 4 new's 2 south's 2 north's. On another note, when Joey says 56 I always lose it. And when he say uTAH? Can't just make stuff up. I really want to see his list if he had 56 and not Utah either lol

In my final semester in college, I had to do group presentations in my Ecology class every two weeks and our professor said we had to pick out different partners for each one and can’t reuse any. For one of them, I worked with one student who didn’t do any work, was so temperamental, and she caused everything to be postponed ‘til the last minute. She nearly messed us up on the day of the presentation. After class, I had to warn some of the other students to make sure they don’t get stuck with this specific person. Then the smartest/best student in the class asked me if I would like to be in her group for the next project. I showed her 2:19 of this video as my answer. I was that desperate. Unfortunately, our professor then said we could work with old partners again and so the best student then bailed on me to work with other students she worked with. But I did work with some close friends of mine, so it was a win-win in the end.

My first attempt I got 41. my strategy was to go through the states based on geological location which was a mistake and took up too much time. Better to just classify in groups by the region

@@connormcquaid7462 I had no strategy to begin with, I don't live in America so my only knowledge of the states was mainly from video games, my strategy now is to do the first 10 in alphabetical order and then the first few from the next 10 states and go from there

@@skaterkid7able I tried doing it alphabetically cos I thought that would be easier. (HINT: it's not. at least not for me). Within 6 minutes got to 42, after a little longer got to 46 before looking up which ones I'd forgotten. Iowa, Oklahoma, Minnesota and Nebraska. I'm also not American so I figure that's not too bad. Although I'm a big NBA fan so I'm a bit pissed I missed OK and MN.

@@rmsbn85 There's a song we learn in elementary school called The Fifty Nifty United States that runs down all the states alphabetically. Perhaps if you can sing the song it'll help memorize the order for you. It's on KZfaq if you want to search and listen. I am impressed that non Americans can name so many states though. I can't even name 10 countries in Europe.
