Can we all agree that the move was badass and I’m loving the attention it’s getting. Lets keep the same energy in the future for NASCAR. Of course they are going to talk about this for a long time it didn’t look real when I saw it live. Everyone just needs to put their differences aside old vs new fans and embrace good ol fashioned racin. I’m from Concord NC and the Coca Cola 600 had been getting old but this year has been refreshing. Hopefully they can get this tire issue fixed but we all must smith it’s made it pretty damn interesting and NASCAR I think deep down is lovin it.

When I saw that I immediately thought of Cale Yarborough. I grew up a David Pearson fan and used to hate Cale for beating David in the '73 Southern 500. But this just seemed like the kind of thing Cale might have done back in the day.

The fact that he wrecked noone doing it, AND PASSED Hamlin to lock himself into the final 4 is absolutely amazing. The only thing that will top it is if Ross goes on to win the Cup.

I like the final four but I think the best 4 was in 2015 with Ky Busch, Harvick, Truex, and Gorden. The storylines were fantastic that year. Harvick was the defending champion. Ky Busch broke his ankle in the Daytona crashed and battled his way back to the top from that. Truex was the massive underdog with Furniture Row. And it was Jeff Gordon's last race with the chance to go out on top. I like this year's but it would be hard to top that year for me.

I hope NASCAR doesn't change a rule about Chastain's move at Martinsville, but if he does win the championship, he'll have something to remember about the 2022 season, and I'll be satisfied.

Since Dale Sr passed away, I've been looking for a driver to support. I went with Harvick because he took over for Sr. Well, he's getting ready to retire and then this rookie driver pulls a move that could be classified as an Earnhardt move! Dale Sr is in heaven smiling from ear to ear! I've my new driver now! I'm on the Chastain Train!

I am now a Logano fan!...his reaction to this move initially was EXACTLY the same reaction I had!...it was AWESOME!!!... HOWEVER!...1 and done!... let's just not make this precident moving forward!... Joey summed it up VERY well..."you are opening up a box"!

Chase Elliot, he won the Championship in 2020. Logano also won a championship back in 2018. While Bell and Chastain have not.

Who? That's Chase Elluott. NASCAR's Most Popular Driver since 2018 and the 2020 NASCAR Champaign. His dad won the Championship in 1988 and won the most popular driver award a record 16 times.

Remember how the "pass in the grass" is looked at so fondly? It was not really that great of a move in retrospect. This move by Chastain though, I instantly knew this was special and would go into the history books.

Hey, credit where credit is due. Do you wanna know who the last driver THIS GUY followed closely? Kyle Petty when he was driving for mellow yellow :p So... you've got me on here watching this and even I know about this crazy move. What I'm trying to say here is.... Siting in the studio, the Wednesday before the race, in a fire suit makes you the same loser that walks all the way around to the spectator grandstand in his fire suit to be cool. Real men wear fire suits in race cars not to prance around like little show ponies.

Its a sad new day for Nascar fans because from now on this could happen at any short track, if Nascar let's this stand. Has everyone lost their minds on this? It's obvious cheating whether there was a rule in place of not because deception was used. This isn't minor league of racing, there's a certain level of sportsmanship and Fairplay that should be a given. Tell the kids that are Hamlin fans why it was so fare. Future potential Nascar customers might not agree.

Lighten up junior. It’s not going to happen at any short track. It only worked here because the line was against the curb. Bristol has guys driving much higher in the corners. You can’t blow by people on the same line. That also means it’s easy to block, just like Denny did to Larson. Now that Denny knows what happened, I’m sure he wished he had moved up instead of trying to pass the 6. At Most tracks, the finish line is too far from the exit of 4. It wasn’t cheating, unless a dive bomb that can only work using the other cars tires. He didn’t win either, Bell was against the wall crossing the line, no one would’ve passed him doing that move.

Seriously. He was still being booed by fans before the start of the race and suddenly he's NASCAR's golden boy because he pulled a desperation move out of his ass and it worked. Was it cool? Yeah it was and now "everyone" is suddenly a Chastain fan. Reminds me of when Earnhardt died. So many fans disliked him because of his driving style but as soon as he passed away, "everyone" was suddenly an Earnhardt fan. There is a reason the term "got Chastained" was coined this year when wrecks would occur around him. He has potential, he just needs to polish his driving style and learn a little patience.
