Eric love your channe and l enjoy the racing content. I would suggest you come down to Florida and watch Speed Weeks at New Symrna, East Bay, All Tech, or Volusia short track racing is way more intense than Cup racing. Not to mention in my opinion Lucas Oil Late Models are an absolute spectacular event every time they take the track. We have lost what makes racing special in Nascar racing is all about friends family and close racing throwing elbows on every lap. Another great example of this is the Snowball Derby I wish a major KZfaq Channel would cover this event it makes Daytona look like a heat race lol. Keep up the good work and look forward to meeting you at a track again.

I grew up close to an 1/8 mile paved oval track and it had some awesome series. Cannot remember all the names of them, but there was a series for 1930-1950 hot rod style bodies, I think "challenger" series for 1950-1970 body "muscle" cars...midgets, pro mods, stock, super stock, train racing (lol)...and others. Lots of friends raced there but I was never fortunate enough.

One thing in driving you have to do is adapt and overcome. He held one line and it caused him to slow up every single lap. Adapt your line to the opponent and apply the heat! Great race but this should have a clean sweep!

@Ka_Gg3 жыл бұрын
Seemed like a few times he could have been more patient and stayed up high. He'd have some great runs on the leader, then go low and lose some momentum.....But what the hell do I know, It's Kyle Larson. He's a beast. Was awesome watching from that view. Loved watching how early in the race he started turning very early to get around the bottom.
@thedoctor83813 жыл бұрын
His comment was actually correct if ya know what your looking at
@Ka_Gg2 жыл бұрын
@@jcearnhardt393 Believe it or not, drivers aren't perfect. Also, my comment is in hindsight which is far easier to make judgements on. Relax though. It isn't a huge deal.
@Ka_Gg2 жыл бұрын
@@thedoctor8381 Yeah some people get so focused on who is driving and less about what is going on. Loved watching this view. You could see that Larson changed up his strategy as the race went on (like all dirt tracks). At the beginning when he would go high, he would kind of follow the cushion to get a run. Later on, he seemed to cut a little lower and hit the cushion higher in turn 2 and 4 trying to "rocket forward". He does that style quite a bit. The guy that won the race was locked on that bottom though. He wasn't perfect either. Nobody is in a dirt race! That's what makes it so much fun.
