This was great . I bought one when I was 15 with the money I saved working at Walgreens for 7$ an hour. The frame was cracked and the engine was blown up and I rebuilt it myself . I had been in a terrible motorcycle accident, almost lost my leg and this fit the bill. Thanks for reminding me of those days.

This would be sick with the right suspension. You can tell the motor out does the chassis in every way. Like grind hard did theirs. That one’s an animal with long travel suspension

Now just put a long travel kit on it and Aluminum Douglas rims and it will be bad ass!! The rotax 583 at least makes 95 horsepower to 105 the 670 made 115 to 125ish with the 670 ho. Best Skidoo motors ever they had great torque and we're Bulletproof I had both of them with high mileage on them in Sleds.

old tri-z 250/ yz490 air cooled, "widowmaker". Missle swing arm conversion, atc250r/cr500. "banshee killer" late 80's gsxr 750 or 1000/ dirt bike suspension. Just a few from the good ol days. Keep it up, with dune tread!

Got scammed by these guys Time Machines bought this fl350r hinda odyssey from them this is the 1 from KZfaq it never ran delivery driver even said it never ran when he picked it up they put the motor together like retarts instead of eliminating the oil injection the eliminated the crank oil and lub port blowing up the crank and completely stripping the Rotax disc they didn't even use assembly lub had to get a hole new motor and start from scratch gonna post paperwork from machine shop had them strip down the engine to find out what happen they refused to cover it real scammed buyers beware and there are other beware ppl bless up from NYC

dayum all it needs is a long travel kit.. I had a choice on mine a long travel kit 1st or the Rotax swap kit 1st I chose the long travel kit which after watchin this was looks like I made a mistake I need to get that for mine but I dont regret the long travel kit it made such a huge difference I mean night and day difference especially when cornering its dam near impossible to roll but with that setup its probably more likely

I grew up in Maine and once you open up a sled that has a Leggett 160 hp two stroke you will have a new religion. Artic Cat and Yamaha were in a different playing feild. Power to weight ratio is how both those companies own the Lakes, SRX, And ZRT, also FireCat are the engines you want.

That engine need oil feed for the rotary valve even when you mix gas, bottle with oil and hose that goes on the top and bottom hose connector thing should work. And i would put some kind of a guard in between the seat and that clutch as if it decides to explode it will propably take an arm with it.

Looked like there was a motor mount bolt loose underneath, you should 3D print up adapter for your air filters, some kind of suspension upgrade is needed now,Good job cool build

Those things are fast with a 350! Can’t imagine with a rotax in it! Stiffer springs in the clutch I bet that beast holds the front wheels off the ground

Its blowing the tires off. Would need a lot less power to lift front end. The wheelie guys arent getting the power to tire spin.

There were cool back in the day. Modern side by sides perform so much better that it would be hard for me to spend the money on one these. My brother did run me over in the same model when I was in 1st grade. The tire tread marks went up my back and off my shoulder.

I'm in the middle of Illinois and snowmobiles are cheap asf with low hours because every one wants one in the winter but the winters with the amount of snow you need to ride are not long. Also most people into snowmobiles are really particular about them and keep them top notch only to ride them a couple times throughout a couple months.

Prefilter over the carbs with some screen or chicken wire wrapped around it to hold the prefilter there with a hose clamp around the chicken wire to keep it tight

Hell yea! Got 3 rotax fl350s 2 670ho's and 1 617cc. 2 are long travel. Used to race them in a pilot/oddysey class at Rolling W Ranch short course offroad track in Western PA. If you ever need anything for a rotax engine let me know, I have a literal wall of rotax 583-670 engines. Also anything for fl350s as well.

Killer project! That kit looks super well made but please utilize that extra oil tank on the fuel tank! It’s to keep the rotary valve lubricated. It will seize if you do not hook it up! A sheet metal airbox will give you the best power but pod filters will do! Also you need to drop some pinweight in your primary clutch, it only sounds like it’s revving to 6500rpm or so 👌👌🤣

Man I just love the old Odysseys and I definitely love hearing the two strokes, it must be more money than brains because you never run a fresh engine without any kind of air filters on them that just is dumb as a box of rocks. I hate giving negative comments and I hate just simply hating on people but when I see somebody doing stuff like this it just doesn't make sense to me and needs to be said. Also take a breath take some time figure things out before they figure themselves out.

If it says in the video then I missed it.... where can I find this kit I finally found a fl350 that I could afford with some assembly required I got it up and running in an afternoon it smokes like mom did in the 70's and doesn't seem to have much power. To be fair I have no basis of comparison because this is the first odyssey that I have ever been in other than when I was 12 and it was parked inside at the honda store. If this 350 is toast then I would like to throw this kit at it or a Polaris indy trail sled engine I happen to have in my stash

Brother! I have a fl350 half tore down that my dad was working on before he passed when i was 15, well that was 15 years ago now and im picking back up the project! He aways wanted to put a snowmobile motor on it being a Indiana kid he was, i live up in richmond Ky now and she is just waiting for me in my garage.. if you know of any place i could send everything off to or where to start on my build id love to contact you somehow to help point me in the right direction! You remind me alot of my old man with al the toys around, i was just like your boys riding with dad to go get some toy for mom to yell at us about when we got back 😅
