I picked up one Friday, so I took it and my brand new Reality to the lanes while I was on a quick trip. Only been bowling a few months, but shot a 206 and 199 with the Duo, and a 212 with the Reality. My first ever natural +600 set with no league handicap. I was extremely happy , as well! Glad you liked it, too, Jason!

The past two years I've been pretty disappointed in Storm overall. THIS is what we've been waiting for. Love how that shaped off of the breakpoint for you. You and I really do have similar tastes. I've got a fresh spot in my bag for a sym pearl and looks like this will make the lineup for sure.

Idea....Do a live stream for a ball review. Interact with us while you are reviewing the ball. Maybe throw some shots from our suggestions to see how the ball your reviewing would react for lines we play. I think it would be fun.

At least they put oil on the lanes when there’s no leagues. Our center doesn’t believe in oil when there’s no league. Makes it impossible to practice. Fire jersey and fire review!!

This duo is just awesome. Out of box shot 785. Then last Thursdays shot 300-832 my highest 800 series. I love this ball alot

I'm a little torn between this and the Fate. Fate rolled great for me at a Matchmaker and I haven't thrown this yet, but I'm speed dominant and this has been recommended. Might need to throw the Exotic again, too, but it wasn't as good for me as I thought it would be.

Everyone I talk to says this reminds them of the Zen. I think differently. I think this ball is very close to the Blue Idol Pearl. eTrax (I think) is a slightly weaker cover than the Microtrax (or I have them reversed). Looking at the motion I see Idol Pearl vibes (and the Idol Pearl was money when it could be used. I drilled 3 of them back when it came out, 2 short pins 1 normal).

i noticed towards the end of the edit the ball started deflecting more. Can you give an explanation as to why? the reason i ask is because i notice my ball does the same.

You have made this ball look good. It looks more controllable. All the other reviews i have seen it looked extra jumpy off the dry and not a strong move like yours does

How many games does it usually take you before you resurface your balls from the last time you resurface them. Also can you ever sand a ball too much I had sanded down my phaze 2 to 500 and tried to bring it back to box finish it no longer hooks the same. I need help only a few months in to bowling.

Great question. I'm the wrong person to ask for that exact reason. I don't do any surface alterations and just use the ball to death. The best balls I've thrown have gone untouched for years and haven't lost performance.

You can absolurely reset the surface of your Phaze II. I would recommend taking it to the pro shop to do. Have a conversation with them about what you were trying to do by taking it down to 500 and they may recommend something other than box finish.

I alternate brands so I haven't thrown everything but the Idol Cosmos, ruby IQ, Gem & Exotic Gem were terrible for me.

I've had more success with asymmetrical solid I sold the gem because of your video but regreted it and bought the pearl it's perfect and also my infinite physics I don't know why but the way I throw it I don't get along with symmetrical balls too well unless the lanes are burnt up.

Proton & Super Nova were the best solids from them IMO. The other stuff is too aggressive for no reason. Balls are DOA.

Looks nice but those colors are trash IMO. Last SPI ball I liked was UFO Alert and all other I liked were the classics in hy road and phaze 2. I liked the honey badger intensity and money badger from global but not much else. A lot of hype from them and their staffers

@@ADJones-vy5hs where i worked at a bowling center, we would allow it as long as they were brand new and you used them strictly for bowling. if you used your regular every day shoes, little rocks would be in the sole of the shoe gouging the approaches

The GEM and Ruby are "terrible?" 😂😂😂 95% of people loved both those balls. How about, instead of calling a ball terrible, you say it didnt match up with you specifically. There have been very few "terrible," balls by any company. May not be good for your style or for conditions you bowl on. "We don't need pearls to roll at the arrows..." Spoken like a true house hack bowler. How many pba bowlers are out there throwing hyped pearls? Majority of bowlers benefit from a ball that doesnt turn left, without a blinker, as soon as it sees friction.

1. I can only account for MY experience. This channel is for the 5% then. 2. Look at the extremes you took it to. I have to be a house hack because I don't want a ball to setup at the arrows? Why do people loft in the 1st place? Because the heads are shot! No heads and a ball that reads at the arrows sounds like fun. 3. So because I'm not a "pro" my perspective is invalid? Maybe you should've asked if I've even used a Hyped Pearl or Idol Pearl on at PBA event and I could've easily told you YES and I made the cut. Belmo make a career throwing Hyroad but somehow throwing low end is wrong? 4. To keep anonymity I won't tell you names but I have national TOURING pros confirm my reviews. 5. Believe it or not I can do things physically that pros can't. I HAVE NO INTEREST IN BOWLING FOR A LIVING. I'm NOT a follower, I can throw a Hyped Pearl and be successful. Try again. 🙄🙄
