As primarily a league bowler, i could really appreciate your videos more than the pro review videos. Although you choose to do a sport shot on this video, most of you videos are on house shots which i think most of us can relate to. Have you considered doing an arsenal video? Showing whats in your bag and what you look for specifically for your league house shots.

Great video !! Keep up the good work!! I think Phase 2 cover is slightly weaker making it more responsive to dry boards. The Idol appears to have a little more core and cover … making it slightly earlier and rounder. I bet you could have both in a 6 ball arsenal if you knew what you were bowling on beforehand. In an “all - purpose “ 6 ball, I’d say not enough room for both.

I’m essentially a beginner to a little above a beginner bowler and I enjoy your videos. I have very low ball speed (12 mph) and likely super low revs. I bowl on house conditions and I have been thinking about getting a Phase II

I had the Idol, and it was my GOAT.. I wish I bought another one to hold on to, but I didn't. After mine cracked I drilled up a phase 2 and absolutely love it.. I am very curious how this new Optimum looks. I had the Helios and I could not stand that ball.

Nice hair cut Luis... looking good! I have a Phaze 2. It is in the bag for league, but doesn't get to see a whole lot of lane time since it is pretty strong, even with a medium drilling. It's definitely better for tournament play. Optimum Idol looks like $$$

I've had the Phaze II for a while and I love it. My only issue with the Optimum Idol is the color. I might still get it though.

Color wise the Phaze II looks a lot like the old Storm 2Furious

Would you be able to do a comparison between optimum Idol versus zen gold label? I get Zen GL is cleaner, should be sharper, but I think both should grab the lane earlier because of the core, etc. Would love to see a comparison. Thanks again!

I love how you compared same shots with 2 balls knowing one shot isnt necessarily the best route for a particular ball because thats the only way you can get a thorough comparison of the differences between different balls. You can't just try to line up a strike every throw from the angle thats meant for the ball which a lot of youtubers do.. if im making sense.lol

I am finally looking to upgrade my ball - love the videos! I throw an old Hyroad X - would recommend any fo the newer balls? like an absolute power / harsh reality? or older like a phaze2?

I'm planning on getting both the P2 and Optimum Idol. Could a low rev/speed dominant (210ish/17+mph) bowler as myself get away with using the same pin layout on both, or should I do pin up on one and/or surface change to make them more different?

I do not know if I told you this yet I finally got my hands on my very first phase too late last month and I have a two ball arsenal now with my IQ tour solid, so I finally have my dream ball originally got the IQ tour when I talk to my Proshop because I want to control as a beginner which definitely did do that for me but I wanted some more action and flare so I can clearly see the difference in shape like you said they both have low RG but what differentiates between the two I have is the higher differential has a unique shape, and the right circumstances shapes well with a good strikes when it doesn’t work, my solid stays a little more straight and it does not shape as much. I am very inconsistent but my scores are getting a little bit better slowly, but surely I may ask what are you planning to do when it comes to bowling ball, reviews and or comparisons plus are you still maybe thinking about doing tutorials/drill videos for us to get better with our game? So the optimum idol is a nano “Micro” base cover correct? The older now gone Idol Pro was a solid cover with no nano, basically R2s base. Is that right ?

Looking forward to the Optimum. I had a p2 before, and I was largely disappointed. Same goes for the OG idol. neither complimented my game. I wonder when they're going to wrap the velocity core with the AI outer core. call it the next phaze :P

Love your videos and find them to be very helpful. However, I’m not a fan of the turn around and talk to the camera after every shot. Let us see the ball more and give us a summary at the end of the video like you used to.
