I honestly don't understand most of what they're saying/singing, but i don't care. This music has an atmosphere unlike anything else. These guys made it to my favorite band in no time. All hail Rotting Christ!

Everything from Rotting Christ is over the regular metal quality level! Its epic, technical and the most important point is the perfect feeling for songwriting and sound! Hope they never stop producing that high class albums! Long live the masters of Hellenic Black metal! What a legend...

The opening song drives me completely crazy ! This album is a total masterpiece, Rotting Christ has such a unique sound in the whole black metal sphere, even if I love many other bands.

I've said it before and I'm sure I'll say it again.. There's something to be said about an album that doesn't have a mediocre track tethered to it. I know my music, the tracking is structured perfectly - right down to the pacing - nothing out of place. Villagers of Ioannina City - Age of Aquarius is the only other "perfect" album I've heard as of late. I know music is supposed to be subjective but no.. I don't care if you dislike this genre, fact being personal preference speaks very little to the quality of the composition.

Black metal represent a lot of shit for people. For some, depression, darkness, satanism and what we combine with the darker side of our mentality. I however look on metal as the strongest motivator there is. Witch represent humanity as a whole and a constant reminder to stay alpha in a dog eat dog world. Chaos, freedom, emotions, expression binded together in art. An all in one solution.

I was ignoring this band for a really long time, because of there name ( I don't consider myself christian, but I dislike the name). And also Black Metal seemed monotone, and stupid to me, before I really got to know it. Well I'm still not into real cvlt of early BM, but meanwhile I like it much more, than Death Metal for example. And especially Rotting Christ is one of my favorites, because of it's mystical and mythical vibe and atmosphere, and through interviews I gained a lot of respect for this band and this genre. Doesn't seem stupid to me anymore.

In 2015 I saw Sadistic Intent, Rotting Christ, Watain and Mayhem play together and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen. Been a fan since then.

Well, I’m very impressed with their greatest hits “their greatest spells”, and to be truthful, I didn’t think I’d buy another one of their albums thinking I have it all the good stuff but listening to this, I don’t, this is great, I’ll be getting this. I’m not much of a black metal fan but Rotting Christ are different, they’re melodic BM and their greatest spells is some of the best I heard and just keeps getting better, and as for this, I’m sold, checking eBay now! I just listened to a bit of dark thrown and naah, it’s just not Rotting Christ, RC has got to be the greatest BM band of all time. Can’t wait to get this and I’ll likely get even more to support the band but only if I like it.

Their Greatest Spells was the best "best of" album ive ever heard. The only other bm band that comes real close to me is Agalloch. Theyre very different from RC but amazing.

Turns out this is one of their weaker albums, but I did end up buying it for like $13 on eBay along with another two albums that where great! RC are a great band, I just got Spotify free for 3 months, you can listen to their entire discography and pretty much every other artist I searched for. I’ll be staying onboard. I’ll see if that bands on Spotify, cheers

The song 666 is not sung in Polish but in Greek. It' s actually a part of the Apocalypse from the Bible put into music. The phrase that can be heard at the intro translates to: "...And the seven angels were heard/blew the trumpets"
