@@phil4893 I think there was a funny episode on Mythbusters on how to sneak around a guard dog using a Police Trained German shepherd dog as a test. The two things that worked was food (only temporary given how fast dogs can eat), and the scent of a female dog in heat (this part the guard dog ignored everything around him except the scent.)

It's not going to work on a trained dog. It's been shown in numerous tests untrained dogs most often do a fine job at defending their people, but if it's just the house the untrained dog often just makes a bunch of noise.

I love Rottweilers' unabashed carnivorousness. (if that's a word) My dog would need the steak cooked medium well, seasoned thoroughly and cut into small, bite-sized pieces with no fat or gristle. Side of buttered baked potato and cous-cous NO garlic.

I was born poor and ate beans and tortillas for most meals. But, just do what I did, dont make kids you cant afford, read boring computer books and watch boring computer tutorials online, ALOT, then get a computer job and work harder and learn more than everybody else, and be positive and friendly towards your colleagues. Then you'll eat steak and lobster for dinner. Sure, you'll have a job that's like being in math class all day, but you will eat well and be financially stable.

@@tasospontian7319. I have a 130 lb GSD Malemute mix. I was advised by a vet to mix up the proteins to prevent allergies. No idea if this is correct as I can’t really find much documentation about it. Also the vet advised to include organ meat, skin and bone as part of the diet. A local farmer prepackages 1 lb tubes of a 70% muscle meat and 30% organ, skin bone mix. He also gets whole fish on occasion. The dog is happy and healthy with the diet.
