I am 38 and my skin is pretty "normal" with no dryness or particular oily areas. I do have early signs of aging like fine lines/texture, as well as some sun damage and REDNESS!
I don't use fake tan, but I get very tan naturally in the summer as I have an olive undertone so my face is often a LOT lighter than my body, because I keep my face very well protected to keep my melasma under control and signs of aging at bay!

Ooh that sounds like a no no for me. Shame, as was interested in the flower shade. I received something similar in a beautylish bag and thought oh no, not that colour but I was pleasantly surprised on just how good it lifted my whole look! So onwards and upwards - I may try the new suqqu lip range.

I was so excited for these to be released. I’m so, SO glad I waited for reviews. They look beautiful on the lips 😍, I like shiny, but I’m okay with a non-transferring satin, too. BUT… I would hate my lips sticking together like that. I’m so glad you talked about this (and updated in the comments) They are a pass from me!

Hi Charlotte, thank you very much for your review. I purchased one of the lipsticks yesterday and like quite a few of the comments, I too experienced sticking. Your review and other viewers’ comments gave me the back up I needed to know it wasn’t just me. I therefore returned my lipstick today and the ladies on the Dior counter said that they were going to feedback to Dior.

I got mine over a week ago. I agree with your saying it’s so sticky. It does last but the the stickiness is hard to get past.

I’m looking forward to trying these for work! I work in a federal medical facility so I occasionally have to wear a mask, but I also spend a lot of time on the phone, so think that sort of tacky/sticky issue would not be a problem for me. I love the 100 shade that you showed-it looked very pretty on you, as did the lovely bright Forever Flower shade! I’m looking at Forever Grace (which is currently sold out on the Dior site) and Forever Paris. Evidently, I have a type as those look pretty similar side by side…lol! Thanks so much for your review and for including your filming bloopers! I bought the shade 200 and I agree that my lips stick together and it’s not a nice feeling. Hmm not sure how I feel about it and how much I’ll reach for it. Great review Charlotte xxxx

I picked up shade 200 and had the same experience with my lips sticking together. It was so unpleasant that I cannot see wearing it again😢 I’m sticking with Chanel!

Thank you for your honest review I find most non-transfer lipsticks do that tacky stick thing.. I’m going to go back and rewatch review of the forever lipstick and maybe go from there

These remind me of the lipsense lipsticks by the brand senegence. I think they were one of the earlier brands to have an alcohol based formula that’s super resistant. But with those, you can’t rub your lips together at all until they’re fully dried, and they have a top coat like the Chanel ones. Can’t wait to try these! Amazing review as always!

Ladies ive bought 2 of the new ABH liquid lips and i do gloss over and they have been perfect. Grabbed the mascara for my daughter so hope it helps her short lashes. 😊

“We are very close to a REVOLUTIONARY lipstick moment” haha 😂 Wow! These remind me of the Maybeline Vinyl Lip Inks. I think they’re probably super similar. I didn’t really like that formula, for the same reasons you didn’t care for the Dior. I think those Maybeline lip inks are probably a dupe for those Diors

I purchased one of these lipsticks in the shade 720 Icone and had the same issue when I pressed my lips together - it was a no go! I had the same thoughts on it being non-drying, absolutely transfer proof *kiss-tested with my hubby ;)* but I also had a tacky feeling after the dry-down. It went away after I ate an oily pasta, also with this darker shade I noticed where the lipstick was breaking down on the perimeter, I think I'll try wearing a lip liner next time. Overall loved it except for the tacky feeling!

I picked up 3, like you one was 100 nude and one was flower. I thought they were very easy to apply and felt great, they didn’t transfer apart from flower which did transfer a bit but I didn’t shake it, so I’ll try again. I noticed the stickiness and thought it went away but like you I felt it return, but as the day wore on I found I forgot about it. I think I love them but they aren’t as comfortable as the new Charlotte Tilbury or Lisa Eldridge ones ❤

They really give me Maybelline Vynil ink vibes. My absolute favourite lip product ever, I have every single shade. Only thing that seems different is the Maybelline is slightly sticky as well but I really don’t think as much as these. I had the same impression when urban decay came out with similar products. I wasn’t paying double the price then, I’m not paying triple now hehe. I know your not into drugstore but this is honestly a high end product hiding in the drugstore section 😊 I’m a pro MUA and use them on my bridal clients, they’re all addicted now ! Maybe try captivated or peachy, they are my most used ones

I've been waiting for these to launch, so happy to see them. I was planning on buying Nude Look but it looks darker than the lipstick of the same name - would you say that's correct or is it just my screen altering the colour? I remember the long wearing liquid lipsticks Dior launched in the early 90s, they were called Rouge Incorruptible, and by golly were they drying .... once tried, never forgotten. 😂😂😂

The Chanel is incredibly hard to find. The colors I want have been sold out for months. I don’t like they stick your lips together but I still might try one.

Hi! Very helpful review😊. I do not like the stickiness at all and therefore these lipsticks have not ended up to my shopping bag after first try at the store. What is the best in this category on your experience? I have the LE Velveteen Muse. It is nice, but so pigmented, that I can only use it as tap-on, not on full swipes😘. I should have gotten the lightest shade🤔. Thanks🌹

This is an exciting product. I’m not a fan of the Chanel equivalent at all, and I’ve been incredibly disappointed in diors recent eye shadow reformulation so I’ve all but given up on Dior. The sticking issue is a bummer but I’m willing to give this one a shot. I really hope it’s good.

I’ve got a couple of these kinds of lipsticks from a couple of different brands… and I do know that you really do need to shake the hell out of it, and you CANNOT press your lips together until it’s completely dried down.

I think the results are amazing because all other Dior lipsticks (and I have MANY of them because I love them) stay really not long when you eat. They just need to be reapplied, that's normal. If you want your lips to be more glossy, just add that lip gloss/oil, that's it. Dior one is quite nice.

Haha, Charlotte, u r not the only one. I swipe my lips together every time I put anything on my lips. Like, I think I do it nonstop when wearing lip products. Esp like lip oils or lip oil balms, u know the super shine extreme comfort lip sticks. I can't help myself it just feels so dang good to rub my lips together lmbo. I'm a big lip stick oil balm junkie that has sheer to full color. 💄💋🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤭😍

I have the flower shade in the other more matte formula and it does the same to me. I've got 4 of them in the previous formula but only Flower does that. Strange enough.

When I first using Dior yrs ago lipsticks were $22 amazing how much prices have changed even Chanel I don’t buy anymore Dior at least keep in the middle

I also bought Flower and had a problem with transferability and wear. Looked great initially but after a couple of hours I noticed quite a bit of transfer onto a cup of coffee and when I got home the middle of the lipstick had disappeared and I was left with a horrible orange line and that was all. Not a happy bunny. Also had the sticky lips issue and weren’t near as shiny as they looked in the promos. Overall disappointed.

Idk...the description on the Dior site says that they're "Ultra Shiny" and the pictures show them as really shiny...but doesn't look very shiny when it dried down 🤔

So even the Chanel are sticky and not shiny without that top gloss over them. Glossy has to stay on top to keep your lips shiny. Without that gloss, I'll stick to Maybellines version. When I want my fancy shine I'll stick to my Chanel. Thanks for taking one for the team!

This is probably going to be a stupid question, but does Charlotte have tattooed lips? Edit: Never-mind! I think she had a lip stain on at first and as she has wiped each successive lip color off, her lips are a normal color after all!
