The rouge fruits are starting to ripe after the Lunar July, with plenty of red fruits hanging on the high branches. I picked some rouge fruits from my neighbor's house and made some wine, ice pops and jam. The special sourness of the rouge fruits is always refreshing and appetizing!

School dropout and family slave.. Haahhh. A simple internet search would have helped in getting her story instead of talking shit about her family

It's not like she started making lots of money with her videos right away...the land, home, etc.. come through years and years of hard work/labor.

I think these videos are really neat, but.... does anyone else have reservations that maybe the CCP is behind these videos as propaganda of some sort? I've been to China and never seen things so clean and idyllic. Freedom for Hong Kong, for Taiwan, for XinJiang, for all Chinese.

There is another young woman that does videos like these, only she does everything from building her own furniture, sews clothes & shoes, builds masonry oven, processes silk from cocoon to finished pajamas for her grandmother, sows, harvests, cooks and preserves her food, builds her own bathroom vanity with sink and pipes running water, and her hands are completely pristine. In the real world, women who really work like that do not have milky white hands with not so much as a mark on them - and there have been close-ups of her hands. Not buying it for a minute. Fun to watch, but completely smoke & mirrors. Beautifully filmed, but CCP propaganda, without doubt. In one of them, the girl in the video eats what she has prepared and the way she is consuming the food, it was like she was starving to death. It was unsettling. I felt sorry for her because it seemed like she was being used, and the food was her “pay/reward”.

There have been some interviews made with her recently, and even a fan meetup popped up on my radar, and she's so timid that it's hard to believe she's an actress. I watch them for the entertainment value, and because I learn things from the videos, and let others speculate about her political affiliations. Having been raised by grandparents whose skillset was similar, though, and having quite a few oldfashioned skills myself, I know that a lot more can be done than your average netizen thinks they can do. I haven't built furniture since middle school, but I do build my own beekeeping equipment if that counts as "furniture", and I cook, garden, preserve food and make my own herbal teas, sew, knit, crochet, weave, and homeschool, just because it's my lifestyle, not because someone wants me to.

I remember my childhood days. We pick this fruit from school in the wild. This is soo red that when eaten it will stain your teeth. @ChikaBoom Womp true in my experience. people who live in the country all over have been nicer, more giving, and helpful than any people living in any cities I've ever met. if you've got ccar trouble in the city, nobody is pulling over to help you. in the country, five people who know how to work on cars and want to help have pulled over within five minutes.

My dad asked me to plant that tree (in Malaysia we called it 'Pokok Letup' at my house backyard saying that the fruits had so many health benefits (for diabetic cholesterol etc). Didn't even know how to prep them or how to eat them till i watched this video LOL. Thanks Dianxi! 🥰
