The antialiasing thing is a setting in Preferences. Something about half resolution on inactive layers

I thank u sooo much. I’ve been doing a lot of animatics using procreate, but I wanted to get into frame by frame animation. And after seeing MANY reviews (this is the best review and tutorial so far btw) I think the amount of money this costs is VERY worth it. It’s honestly better than flip a clip as well. I am a small animator and I really want to thank u for making my first time animating enjoyable! And it’s also much more simple than I thought it was. Thank u so much! 😊

Also for those who have issues with importing the PNG sequences: on my PC I had to add .zip after the filename to make the compressed PNGs visible.

I just got Rough Animator and I was having quite a bit of trouble figuring everything out(I used to have to use Flipaclip because I couldn't find another animation software) and I keep coming back to this video to learn how to work it so thanks for the help! I’ve used RoughAnimator for over a year now, and it really is great. It has its issues, but it worked for me before I had a display tablet. There weren’t many tutorials though, but I’m glad more are starting to show up. Idk how your brush is so smooth and not laggy though haha😉

@@THUNGUNS I’m sure they’ve been addressed since the last time I used it (start of 2020), but the brushes would be a bit laggy when using a 1920x1080 canvas size. It would also crash when I tried playing my animation back sometimes if it was a longer video. That was two years ago though, and now the app is much more stable (I tried it again a good while later and it was much quicker and more responsive).

My questions: -how can i delete frames. -how do i keep photos ive added on separate frames -how to select multiple times with the lasso tool, instead of having to select and then do the tedious work of having to go back everytime to remove more.

Love this channel, I'm a bit of a gear head, but I don't believe you've got an episode of your setup. Would be interested to know what you use. In this video I see the apple stylus and ipad pro for rough animator. I'm usually on my desktop and have an old ipad mini and want to explore rough animator. Will that Apple penicil work on an ipad mini 2,?

I used Trapcode Starglwo, a plugin for that effect. I didn't even tweak much. :)

Can you import your own images already drawn? Like for storyboard wise stuff? I use a different app for drawing and such but it's hard finding something to help with putting storyboard frames together

Wow I didn’t know how many cool features this app had! I’ve been dabbling with another app called Flipaclip but it doesn’t seem to have as much features and flexibility as Rough Animator. I’m thinking I might switch over - if you tried FlipaClip, what are your thoughts on it?

Hannah Bernal I personally don’t like it you have to pay for most of the features and rough animator you just have to make a single purchase. Also FlipaClip as horrible rendering the animations are sooo pixely

@@shockerhaven07 nah, flipaclip can also be used on premium with one time purchase and cheaper than rough animator, so you kinda biased. Anyways, I'm looking forward to downloading rough animator, seems better. Also, it does good quality on flipa clip for me. Mabye you have an old phone? Anyways, bye.
