I witnessed outsider skaters destroy skate scenes in a day...we used to be able to skate spots until getting kicked out..a group from out of town came in and threatened ppl, cursing at ppl..they put poles in front ledges, knobbed rails etc...it took years to stop getting harrassed by cops...ppl was nice before things went bad...respect ppl and don't make things bad for everyone...if they threaten you, say have a good day and move on...random ppl will be upset from time to time, skating is noisy and seems dangerous to ppl, they are not wrong at times.
