If you get some copper stranded wire you can take one strand out of it and use it to unplug those tiny jet holes. Copper is soft and its better for not damaging the jets.

@@eathans_small_engines8665 It is not recommended to swap pulleys on a hydrostatic mower. I would search for a cheap manual transmission mower. You could probably find one with a blown motor and just put your motor on it. I just did a video on swapping the rear axle pulley: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/eLCFgdmEqarcoGw.html

Same thing my YT4000 craftsman 24 HP is doing ! Can run it without full choke but now it’s dying even that way. Replaced the fuel pump a week ago, ran great ! Now it’s the choke I’m not sure if it’s the choke linkage cause with my hand Under it and holding it runs fine , I let go and it’s throbbing up and down and dies.

I have the 15.5 and it keeps flooding out after you turn it off. Already checked the electric fuel shutoff it's moving back and forth as needed looks like

I would check your float to make sure it’s not leaking and check your needle valve and seat to make sure they’re sealing properly

Always use ethanol-free gas in your small engines and your carb will never have to be cleaned

Now I've got a smooth powerful kawi580 and replaced the carb, then it went back to running bad soon after I've done all the hunting tricks etc fuel line clean filter etc every trick , it still starts to fart out and die like the bowl is run dry , wait a little and it fires up strong only to run dry again frustrated this round any Xtra tips from you or any one would be a help

Holy shit that thing's spittin fire lmao! I've always wanted to do that... to several mowers that ended up biting the dust. I'm great with computers, but mechanical stuff and I tend to just disagree with each other.

Turn off the fuel and empty the bowl before storage and this won’t happen.

I agree 100% I got the mower for free and this is just how it was. I have since installed a shutoff valve 👍

It never happens to none of my stuff but towards fall time when i quit using them I'll put gas treatment in all my stuff i do use and it'll sit all winter and i do still start every thing up in the middle of winter to circulate the treated gas

@@akshonclipnot true at all😂 and if you belive this you're just as retarted as the guy who made this video😂. If you empty the bowl and store it with nothing in it the carb will get corrosion in it and the little bit of fuel that you didn't get out will evaporate and leave behind a Residue. Also jets getting clogged partially usually isnt caused from the machine sitting its caused by Debris in the tank naking it through the fuel filter and into the carb because nobody knows how to change a fucking fuel filter. Pro tip instead of draining your carb just start your shit once a mounth like you should anyways, between that and replacing your fuel filter once a season youll never have this issue again
