He was only on local commercial or PBS TV stations a short time. The guy is a genius. Would love to see his whole series and episodes.

A bit obvious and corny but I did love him and never missed any of his shows. Gotta give it to Hoges...he was (and is) an Aussie icon and legend.

Some of the elements of the performance, are almost like his crocodile Dundee moments when appearing to not understand social convention.

Though I can certainly see the Donald being a good sport by participating in sketches like this, the older bloke sitting with Delvene Delaney is actually the late Johnny Ladd, who would also appear on Graham Kennedy's In Melbourne Tonight regularly. :-)
