Round Lashing

Very easy to watch vid, thanks. Is there a general guide to how much the poles need to overlap? I'm looking to try and make a ridge poll for an a frame shelter to take to my next camping event but my car is not big enough to carry it in once piece.

Great question! A general rule of thumb for this one is to have one quarter of the total length overlapping. For extra strength you can go with a third overlapping.
