1.Clearly we still do not understand how workplace harassment works and what "taking advantage of your position and power" means. 2. People who call Monica a "home wrecker", FYI, people IN the marriage wreck their own marriages, not third parties. How do we know Bill and Hilary's marriage was not already over before Monica even came into the picture? How do we know Bill did not make it seem like his marriage was an open marriage to Monica? Its sad that the world convinced her to apologise to Hilary...Monica did not need to apologise to ANYONE. 3. Monica Lewinsky was made to sign contracts to not share her side of the story for a decade which was basically Clinton's abuse of power, denied jobs in her field everywhere in USA...shamed for her entire life, bullied, harassed, trashed, eventually she moved to London and studied social psychology at LSE to understand what happened to her..she tried to share her story now to help others who have been victim of shaming and bullying survive the pain.

He was too defensive about it. He absolutely owed Monica lewinski an apology but it’s too late now. His narcissism was on full display in this interview. “Did you ever apologize to Monica Lewinski?” And he replied “no, yes I apologized to everyone publicly” well, no you didn’t apologize to her or yes you did? There is a big difference between a public “blanket” apology and a sincere “I’m sorry for/I....” narcissists are not capable of a real apology and feeling remorseful for the hurt and pain they caused. The only thing he is sorry for is that he got caught and that 20 years later with the Me Too movement it is being brought up again.

Anne Liesveld Hello there, Monica was already an adult. She is no victim, and this is coming from a woman who was once in her shoes long time ago. Mikala H Monica does not deserve an apology. She was a 23 yr old women, and old enough to make smarter decisions. She did not have to (under her words) tell Bill in a private setting “I have a huge crush on you” and admitting that she wore her clothes and thongs a certain way to get his attention. The only reason why this consenting relationship was revealed to the public was because Monica Lewinsky told Linda Trapp. Linda just wanted fame. Please gather the facts from the respective people. Monica is only feeling guilty for how America has reacted to her but you need to watch her in the Clinton affair show. I think it’s very irresponsible for people to make this about 1 person. Both sides were extremely wrong, apologies were correctly given to all of us for wasting our time with this stupid nonsense instead of worrying about big issues in America.

There are lots of power inequalities in relationships. I lived with a girlfriend for years in her flat. At any time, night or day, she could have thrown me out and I'd have been homeless. That's a lot of power, but she didn't abuse it so it was fine. Some people look after a partner during serious illness. They could abandon them, which is also a lot of power over a person. Did Bill Clinton threaten or force Monica Lewinsky? No, it was consensual. Power inequality is not a synonym of abuse or exploitation.

The thing is... a decent human being would have given Monica a face to face apology at least once in the past 20+ years for having denied it and calling her "that woman", and for abusing his status and position and using it to manipulate some young woman just to get his rocks off. Here is my opinion. I was not alive during this scandal or when he was in office. But with the evidence provided. He was a good president, however he wasn’t honest or loyal to his family and the American people. I believe that Bill Clinton should be given some slack since this was 25 years ago. But he does owe Monica an apology PRIVATELY. To be honest If his DNA was not found on the dress then he would’ve never admitted to the affair. I wish I could choose a side but I can’t. However ML’s life was ruined. That’s all she is known for. However Monica knew what she was getting into. She knew what she was doing was wrong. But Bill also knew what he was doing was wrong. I do not know if Bill Clinton was a r*pist but I do know that he was in the wrong for not only the affair but also lying under oath. I have so much more to say but I’m gonna leave it at this, Bill Clinton was a good president, but not a good husband to Hillary. And I hope that he still feels the regret of that affair and what else he has done.

Do YOU know that Bill Clinton purposely did not go to the hospital when Chelsea was born? In Arkansas, at the time, And Bill knew Hillary was carrying on an affair with Web Hubble. He always thought Chelsea was the biological daughter of Webb Hubble, " and Bill was right" You have to understand just how dysfunctional Hillary and Bill's non-marriage, 1970's style "open marriage" was. All kept undercover for the most part while running for office as President.

For sure. He acts like everyone in America was asked "was you ok with what Bill Clinton did" and everyone 2 3rds said yes we are ok with it. How dumb does he think America is. That's what's insulting to me. They probably messed around with the polls to get a good result so he can hopefully let it all settle down. He's a slime ball for sure.

If he has only apologized privately to ML, he had been judged and asked for a public apology. Damned if he did, damned if he didn’t. He did very wrong given his position back then, but also he did govern well and left the country stable and economically strong. Both of them have paid a price for their mistake and the mess they made. He will be remembered, though, for his good governance, his ability to lie and ML scandal.
