Roundup weed-killer lawsuit leads to confusion among homeowners, farmers

If you are confused about the safety of Roundup, you aren’t alone. It’s a tough call for homeowners and especially farmers. For decades, Roundup has been touted as one of the safest ways to control pesky weeds. But jury’s recent verdict, calls that into question.

That farmer advocating glyphosate safety reminds me if the Dr's in the 60s who said smoking was perfectly healthy and doesn't cause cancer. Well now it's glyphosates turn to face the music... Many years later we'll look at glyphosate a human health violation. May big pharma and big agriculture go bankrupt from these lawsuits.

it’s not safe. my mother got cancer from it. we used it on the weeds in our backyard and later she was diagnosed with lymphoma. luckily, she’s now cancer free but we are still waiting for the money from the lawsuit.

What a moron you have proven to be. The Rate of non hodgkin's lymphoma is the same as it was before we had Glyphosate(Roundup). It has been proven Roundup(Glyphosate) does not cause cancer. When i was a kid most of my Uncles & Aunts had Fruit & Vegetable Gardens and they weeded by hand and used NO herbicides. They used natural fertilizers mostly hoarse manure or certain food scraps & One of my uncles lived to over100 years old maybe because he made his own wine as well... True Story... So i suggest Americans Get Back to the basics and do not pay attention to people who snub their noses at the thought of getting their hands a little soiled...It is not beneath any human being to put a food seed into the earth and supplement their food. It goes a long way and the rewards are plenty...i had been fortunate enough for a time to have planted pear and apple trees and blueberry bushes and various tomato plants and herb plants like basil & parsley that are high in vitamins...Watching these plants come to fruition is like pure magic...The methods of organic agricultural technology in order to grow your own has been well known for decades and is well worth learning ... God is good Jesus Bless ...

@@joeydoherty368 oh farmer Randy the guy I know has a hole different thing going and when I say mess up I mean mess up. So Randy had a 250 gallon drum that is for weed killer stuff for his land that this time round up was in the drum and one of the lines pop off so Randy tryed to put the line back on but there was no way so Randy pretty much took a bath in the stuff and he didn't take long Randy was getting sick sick now he is almost dead he has 3 different kinds of cancer skin,lung,and some other cancer I don't know a lot about but all from round up and that line coming of the drum.

So he out doing his thing and a one of his lines came loose from the tank and he tryed to put it back on too the tank shot that stuff all over him he has 5 different cancer now and will die soon.

im spraying poison oak on poison oak next week. About 2 oz per acre should do it. I only spray directly on the leaves of each plant. Im a lot more afraid of the poison oak than the small application of roundup applied safely.

It appears these areas of inquiry are off limits for research. What other areas of inquiry are the good questions suppressed? Roundup is a huge money maker for everyone involved. Stay 1,000 miles away from the stuff. Heaps of salt diluted and sprayed kills weeds easily around the home. And switch to regenerative farming. No chemicals needed and huge yields provided. As demonstrated over and over in the most barren lands across Australia, Africa and in the US. When a company is making billions from something many deem can cause cancer, always err on the side of caution. Especially when erring means you DON’T need the product.
