----Thanks so much. Very useful. I got the same model and trouble. Mine is under warranty. I just received the new belt, but I'm still undecided if replacing it myself or working into taking it out of the RV (pain in the neck), put it in my car. Drive 12 miles to the repair shop (labor is covered), wait a few days, then pick it up, have a hard time getting into the RV spot, and reinstall on top of the washer. Warranty doesn't cover any of the related errands and weight lifting. I found this belt and shaft system very weak for the job. Even worse, is that I'm planning to be prepared to have to do this whole process every year or so. By the way, mine only lasted 7 months. I wished I reviewed this brand and model and compared it with other possibilities ahead of time.

Wow! 7 months is NOT long enough. We were told that if you dry anything with rubber in the drum (like shoes) it will shorten the lifespan of the belt. If you have to take it out any deliver it to them anyway, I’d bet you can replace the belt yourself. Just stretch that belt well before putting it on. Glad to help! Let us know what you decided!

Thanks for the video, helped with our belt replacement. Bought the belt on Amazon, identical to original. I recommend loosening the side opposite the motor, it makes slipping the belt onto the drum much easier. Thanks for making the video.

I have the splendide stackable set in my 2018 Vanleigh Vilano. Also in the very rear. Within the first two years I had to replace both the washer and dryer. Belt just broke after 18 months with the dryer. These things are just not worth the premium they charge for "rv". Getting the vent hooked back up is the hardest part, but I've become a pro since my set is pulled out of the cabinet about every 6 months for repairs or replacements.

So for some reason my dryer is still stuck to the top of the washer. How can I get it off?

I have the exact same model and it's secured exactly the same as urs to the washer, same brackets, I removed the screws on the front bracket I try lifting the dryer but it won't come out, it won't move, how did you guys get the dryer to come out after removing the screws on the front?

We have 2 front brackets and as you can tell from the video 1 strong man. If you’re missing either of these things you may have a tough time. 😉

@@RouteDownFam thanks for replying, yeah I'm pretty strong I'm a guy but I try lifting the dryer over the front bracket and it won't go up, when I lift the top of the washer also lifts and starts to move the washer control panel so to avoid damage I don't force it

@@guillermotorres5997 Is there a wooden shelf above it? It’s kind of far back and it may be hard to see but it would keep you from lifting it

Part # from Splendide is 145707 and it's $45.36 + $12.00 shipping. Just ordered one. Could probably find cheaper or Amazon version to match.

@@RouteDownFam haha no kidding. Got it…2 days later. When you got the belt on, do you remember if the drum seemed somewhat stiff to turn? Like it doesn’t turn very freely? Just want to make sure before I put it back together and in the cabinet! Thanks so much for a great video!
