Seriously, I can't thank you enough. I personally understand the real basics on how routers forward packets from one network to another! He used two different network ip address (Class C) and setup a routing tables so he can be able to send it from one computer on one network to another computer on another network. Computers is just a demonstration. This small is helping me to understand the concepts.

PC-PT(end device) doesn't had a FastEthernet interface when i try to connect [pc-router-pc] .........the PC-PT had only "RS 232, USB 0, USB 1 & wireless()".....plz tell me what is the problem

you can add it manually. Turn off PC and add FE interface, turn it on again.

Sir When I am giving a wan connection from one router to another router it is showing that cable cannot be connected to the port how to solve the issue please help me out with this.

maybe your cable is wrong, or Router port is disable. So you must use the right cable, and should Enabling (check the enable checkbox) on router port.

Klo buka software kayaknya g bisa. Klo data, seting dasarnya ini. Nanti tinggal share folder data dari PC2, nanti tinggal buka alamat PC2 dari PC1 aja

Correct me if im wrong. Why did you put 192.168.1.1 on the first PC and 192.168.2.1 on the second pc? shouldnt it be like this.... the first pc should have 192.168.1.40 and the second pc 192.168.1.70 i didnt change the "1" because you're actually in the same network.

REYNEER MOISES MORALES LEÓN if you have same network, you haven't use router. Connect the PC1 and PC2 directly, using crossover cable

Emm if you notice on our home routers theyre connected in the same router and they have the same network IP. For example my router has 4 lan ports, i have connected 2 pcs via cable utp my first pc gets 192.168.1.11 second pc gets 192.168.1.70 the "1" never changes. thats what im looking for on this cisco software. I found that we should use a switch to achieve that, but... in real life im not using a switching device i just connect them directly to router. did u get me?

REYNEER MOISES MORALES LEÓN your router work as switch. If you want gets different network, you can use router like Mikrotik, Cisco etc. But, you should config first

Oh my router work as switch? didnt know that but... most routers that ive seen there is no a switch device connected. Mikrotik? ill try it thank you. Subscribed!
