Do you need anything other than experience as a climber to become a routesetter? I imagine you start out helping the lead routesetter if you work in a gym? I am very very intererested in becomeing one. I have only four months of climbing experience, but this is the only job that i've actually WANTED to do. Do you have any tips?

You said every cliche' thing you about route setting without saying anything at all. "As a climber, use your experience to set" Wow, that's nothing. This place is waaaay too brite and you're just sticking things on the wall either too easy or too hard. Try talking about geometry and dynamic movements and static angles. You want to teach people you say, so say something technical.
