There's a small box that's cut into 3 at the top right hand corner, click it and a drop down menu will appear with "output" as one of the options

You may need to completely uninstall Kontact then reinstall it with the update first (Kontact 6) before installing the drum pack, I had a similar issue

It's on instruments rather than the effects. So load up a software instrument e.g. electric piano and click on the little arrows beside it, then go to AU instruments at the bottom of the list and it should be there! :D

Nevermind, found the answer in your MODERN & MASSIVE video - had to click the "!" button in the Kontakt player to make it refresh itself and show the new channels.

Damnit, same here. Just bought it last week, set it up yesterday, and now it is stuck.

how did you get this resolved?

You can "group" the outputs. I typically do kick in, kick out, snare top, snare bottom, toms, overheads and ambience (rooms). This way it's easier for mixing and processing. Splitting things out like Nolly did here is ok, but for my setup that's way too many tracks to process, and I don't really hear that much improvement in sound.

i think Nolly actually did a video on this if i'm not mistaken, but any video on mixing samples should do it

You don't need Kontakt to use the tester samples.

I also had this problem, easiest way around it is to route it all to a master bus and create a channel for the master...

@@gabrielfrison i think he talks about routing in the video if i'm not mistaken. But you label a few buses for example "all toms" or "all cymbals" and you route those to a bus called "all drums" which would be your master drum channel. If you right click that bus in the mixer, you can opt in to "create a channel" i think is what it's called or "create a track" and it'll make it into a track you can actually see in your timeline.

Hey guys! When in kontakt and having opened the GGD just click the symbol next to the settings wheel and turn on outputs and keyboard to get the same look as Nolly.

If you mean the mixer section, there is a square-like icon on the top menu, hit that and enable outputs.

It does work with the free kontakt player if thats what you mean - no need to buy the full version!

LOL replying my own question. On top left corner there is a place called Region. I can mute the whole drum set from there.

i just replied to someone else but they could only solo the kick. an alternative to what you said is to create a track stack with all of the aux tracks including the one with your kontakt instrument (which is technically only your kick track now) and use the summing folder as your master.

Nevermind -- I see you can add aux tracks to the arrangement window! Cool beans. Then after you add them all you can folder them. I tried doing the track stack and that was a no-go!

Yea i downloaded this shitty Kontakt 6 and none of that shows up.

hope you found your answer by now. if not, here: it's because the kontakt instrument is on the now kick channel and not entirely serving as the master anymore. idk if it's a logic thing, but it's how logic's built in drums are setup too. after you create the aux tracks and route them, you need to create a track for each aux (in the mixer) so you can see them in your session. then, create a track stack which will serve as your master drum ch. not sure if there is a way around this, but it's only one extra step if you follow Nolly's walkthrough.

Matthew Brown perfect drums is pretty amazing. I used it on the latest interloper single “glasshouse”

If you open Kontakt & look near the top of it in kind of the middle kind of slightly to the right you'll see an icon that looks like a square that's composed of 3 other squares / rectangles. That button should open up a drop down menu where it'll say "Browser , Master , Info , Outputs" etc.You want to click "Outputs". A check mark should then appear beside outputs & a list will come with your outputs at the bottom of the screen. It should already have the 16 outputs from where you created them in your DAW. Hope that helps. I am just now figuring this out as well & I agree Kontakt is a bit confusing. The confusion is on in this video because he's using 5 & were using 6 , presumably.
