Routing Waves SoundGrid X-WSG: 6 Insertable Racks

In this video, I go over the options for routing on the Behringer X32 and Midas M32 with the Waves X-WSG SoundGrid card. This video shows off how to set up 6 insertable racks for inserting on a channel, mixbus, matrix, or even the LR Bus.

Are you still able to “multi track” for virtual playback if you do the 32 channel configuration?

Your Videos are great but is it possible that there is a smal mistake on this Video? on the "Expansion Card Outputs 1-8", I think its have du be routed to Aux 1-6/Mon or not? Thanks.

Yes you are correct! Found the easter egg in my video! It should be routed to Aux 1-6/Mon. I have it correct in the blog post but wrong in the video. I will be updating the video to show the correct routing. Sorry about that!

Drew Brashler thanks a lot for all your videos. Quick question. Are you not concerned about latency issues in a scenario like this ? For example, if I were to insert one of these racks (with a handful of heavy plugins on my sound grid) on to my drum bus, rest of the channels on the desk will not be delay compensated. The drum bus and another bus passing through the sound grid will be, at least in theory, out of sync with rest of the audio flowing through the desk. Thoughts ?

@@DrewBrashler I wish I had read this post before watching the video and spending quite a bit of time to figure out what Tal discovered. Honestly the video should be taken down until it is corrected to prevent that from happening to more people. Otherwise thanks for your X32 work.

Also,just to point out....once you route to Aux 1-6/mon --> you will loose accessibility to the first 1-8 channels of the mixer leaving you with 24 channels remaining.
