Just an FYI...check your pipe clearance if going to Install in Losi 5ive T. It will clear chassis brace from what I can see

Dude. Get a gp460 easy pull with adapter plate. Never have pullstart probs ever again. No need to buy any other pullstarts. Also the dog u bolt to the flywheel doubles as a flywheel and clutch puller and also the adapter plate is threaded to put a bolt they to block the flywheel.

So no flywheel air intake isn't a huge deal? I was thinking about making some holes on the aluminum adapter plate FOR air to get in.

Yes you can cut it! I have 2 snappers clutchs It look like Your parts will fit on a snapper Short housing But if you have a Micrometer a.k.a. the Digital ruler. I can do some measurements for you and compare But it sure look like it. And yes I have two 45cc that easy start Is very easy you don’t even feel the compression but it does rob the hell out of the air it supposed to get. I can almost guarantee you will overheat I had to drill holes in mines to get the right air flow. I have a few videos

Thanks man. I was wondering if anyone would chime in about the clutch. I can measure and post and if you dont mind measuring your short one. I thought the two clutches looked really similar. Ill have to look again. Maybe the same knowing area rc. I think ive seen ur 45cc easy start mods in the videos. Im gonna have to do the same thing. As soon as i saw it i knew that had to be an airflow issue. I didnt know it but Zenoah makes an easy start that is identical. Found it on gizmo motors website ..its 30 bucks...no airflow on theres either..

Sick N Tired Rc Do you still need those measurements? Compare the area RC to the snapper? Sorry for the delay but it slipped The memory bank🤔

@@ThePonyboy50 yeah thats cuz the zenoah is a marine pullstart. It doesnt need airflow cuz the flywheel isnt a fan. Watercooled.

What's up? Could you tell me if you know) the size of the two crank bearings on the scz?
@ThePonyboy506 жыл бұрын
Karrie Bhurgari I have no idea buddy I've never had the engine apart I apologize. You would ask me another question about the size of the intake I believe or the Reed valve and I never got back to you I apologize but what do you got going on that you're trying to figure these sizes out?
@karriebhurgari39336 жыл бұрын
Sick N Tired Rc I'm building a custom 50 or 70cc and I'm using the scz case becuase it has the thickest cylinder wall and I need the bearing size I found out the intake size but thanks for asking bro! I'm ordering the parts and I'll have a build forum up soon soo if you want to see it shoot me a reply!!

@@karriebhurgari3933 how r u bolting a 50cc to the scz case?
@zeeshanhb95204 жыл бұрын
@@SnookTuned hey man, that was my old account. Sorry I didn't get back to you. So what I was going to try to do at that time was take a scz crankcase and modify it to fit a 50 or 70cc, so I wanted to know the bearing size so I could order the appropriate ones. But when I actually got the crankcase, as you can imagine, that wasnt ever Gunna work. Too little meterial and even if I could put a 50 - 70 head on there, it wouldn't flow enough. So I ended up selling that case and buying a Alx 71cc crankcase and building my whole own custom 71cc build from that. And that was a year and a half ago. So I've just got it to start up and idls yesterday, I forgot to film it unfortunately tho and the pull start broke so when I get my new pull start I will definitely record some videos of it.

@@zeeshanhb9520 dude nice. How much did that alx case cost u? I was actually looking to do the same thing using a bzm case.

I have this clutch for my dbxl... it runs ok for 5 mins then its drives itself as if it constantly engages... am i best just to take it out & chuck it? Or are they any good? Mines was purchased new... tia

Thanks for posting..ive been hoping someone with some experience with it would comment. I have not used it yet. In your case i would take it out and tighten the springs down a bit more..

Hi the reason it locks up is because the pin and counter weights heat up and expand. To remedy the problem I have drilled the holes in the counterweights slightly bigger by about 0.5mm. I have also filed the sides of the aluminium housing so the counterweights have some sideways play. So far the problems seems to be solved. So the main points is to have play to compasate for the heat.
@ThePonyboy505 жыл бұрын
@@dennismcleod8046 thats genius. Makes complete sense. I will definitely do that if i ever decide to run it. I wondered about that grease that they show coming with it. Sometimes its shown in a needle type applicatord in some of the pictures online. I wondered if that would help. I dont even know what type of grease it is.
@dennismcleod80465 жыл бұрын
🙈🙉Hi, that is not grease. DO NOT put on moving parts of the clutch. It it lapping / grinding paste. You put in the taper and on the engine shaft and grind the two together. Then clean it of its to help get the tapers of the engine and clutch to fit nicely together for better engagement and less likely hood of slipping 😄
