Welcome back to another episode of Fabric Espresso Warehouse series. In this episode, we introduce and highlight the new Row-Level security feature in Warehouse and SQL Endpoint
Row-Level Security enables you to use group membership or execution context to control access to rows in a database table.
Row-Level Security (RLS) simplifies the design and coding of security in your application. RLS helps you implement restrictions on data row access. For example, you can ensure that workers access only those data rows that are pertinent to their department. Another example is to restrict customers' data access to only the data relevant to their company.
The access restriction logic is in the database tier rather than away from the data in another application tier. The database system applies the access restrictions every time that data access is attempted from any tier. This makes your security system more reliable and robust by reducing the surface area of your security system.

Great work folks! I run a SaaS platform and I'm considering using Fabric as my data warehousing solution. Once my warehouse has been created, I would like to share the warehouse out to my enterprise customers to allow them to build their own reports and do their own analytics. Question, if I combine Fabric data warehouse sharing with RLS on my copy of the DW, does RLS still get applied when they query the shared warehouse, will they only see their data vs other companies data? Second question, is there a cost for the companies I share the warehouse with to utilize the powers of Fabric/PowerBI on top of my shared warehouse?

Great content. Short and to the point is appreciated. But what about Lakehouse SQL endpoint?
