These edits are getting boulder and boulder! Granite, this is exactly the type of humour we roll with now, but this is an absolute gem. Can't believe nobody thought of this tuff before, honestly. The idea was simple but igneous, and though for some it's like being between a rock and a hard place, for me this path of musical genius is under-sand-able. Who wouldn't PICK this type of song to pebble into something more concrete?

This actually has a really sad origin story: During a take of Roxanne, while performing with The Police, Sting accidentally placed a rock on a keyboard (audible at 0:03) and laughed it off. The laughing quickly subsided when Sting realized he no longer could remember any words besides "rocks." The increasing intensity throughout his repeated, tragic screams of "ROCKS" was actually a result of frustration and fear, with him trying to communicate to the band that he was in trouble. Unfortunately, his bandmates interpreted this attempted plea for help as feedback that their recording "really Rocks." Sting eventually recovered, but it took eight sessions with a tantric therapist before he could finally reintroduce other words to his vocabulary. He still has never spoken publicly about the incident or his relationship with rocks.
