‪@AnnenMayKantereit‬ blew me the frig away when I heard Henning May's voice. It truly blew my mind and I immediately started trying to imitate his singing voice. While that caused me quite a bit of pain, it didn't dissuade me from wanting to dig in deeper and I found out that they covered "Roxanne" by The Police with ‪@MilkyChance‬. That became a must listen immediately. I love ‪@AnnenMayKantereit‬ & ‪@GiantRooks‬ cover of "Tom's Diner" and this one didn't disappoint me once bit.

Haha, apparently he does smoke, or at least he still did a few years ago but in his own words: "You don't get such a voice from smoking and drinking, just from working on it."

A fantastic song by AMK them is Ausgehen (Proberaum Session). You’d absolutely love it. I don’t understand a word of it but, MAN does it jam hard.

This is such a great collaboration, they really are making the most of the space behind them. AMK have so much great work, both originals and covers. You have a great knowledge of music, especially the older stuff.

AMK actually do a cool cover of Kylie’s “Can’t get you out of my head” in colab with another artist (think same guys they collabed with on Tom’s Diner).

henning surprised me most with a zarah leander cover they did: "nur nicht aus liebe weinen". there's a busking verion of it on youtube and a live version from a concert too.

OMG I thought the same thing about the intro sounding like the beginning of london calling. I've never heard someone say they thought the same, that made me excited lmao
