Yes Romano, I agree. Roy in his prime was unstoppable. He defied logic and physics. Man was he fun to watch. Every fight was like getting ready to watch MJ & the Bulls play any team. Everyone was thinking what unbelievable move is MJ going to do tonight? That's what it was like watching Roy. He was rooted in sound technical Boxing but because of his exceptional athleticism and reflexes he could pull stuff off that no one would even thinking of if they had months to think about it. Except Roy would do it in a flash. One of the best...

Yes he did, sadly. Given his friendship with Gerald McClellan I never thought Roy would put himself in the situations that he did to allow him to get knocked out by bums he would've played with in his prime. Stick around and allow those idiots to claim a victory over a one-time Master was painful to watch.

Roy was much faster, and considering his size, his speed is much more impressive. Floyd doesn't have the combination of speed and power Roy possesses, and the explosiveness. He had two-fisted power.

People talk p4p rankings but the fighters in the rankings never make drastic weight changes. He went from Middle weight champion all the way to Heavyweight champion... a difference of 40lbs not a difference of 5-7lbs like the smaller weight classes (featherweight super featherweight etc) Dude was the legit P4P for like 10-12 years one of the greatest boxers of all time Top 10 without a doubt.

He was the first Latino boxer to win a Heavyweight title. He was a world champion who beat Evander Holyfield- to say he was never relevant is a misrepresentation of facts. Nevertheless I stand by my original comment.

Whateva ever nationality or ethnic group of people he comes from is irrelevant, you said he beat an old, older, real deal holyfield so what he beat true heavyweight, roy jones put on 25 plus# just to make the heavyweight minimum and he fights not an holyfield,or chris byrd,or those active at that time he beat a slow olgur and I'm sticking to what I said! !!

Yeah because people “like” getting hit lol. Other than Floyd/B Hop/Foreman, no other boxer, especially one who relied mostly on reflexes and athleticism has thrived past the age 35 at the elite level. NONE. Ali after 35 = Shit, Ray Leonard after 35 = Shit. Whitaker after 35 = Shit. Get the picture? Roy was past it when he started losing.
