Most of the fans wanted Ten Hag i'm so glad the club didn't listen to the pundits and ex players wanting poch. Ten Hag is the real deal he's lifted the standards and increased the professionalism to where it needs to be. The players are happy you can see it, it's so good to see our club competing again just a shame we didn't get some more signings like our competitors to bolster our season🤦🏼♂

He's done very well. Let's not get too carried away though (ETH certainly won't be!), there's still lots to do to get near to where we should be. We still lack squad depth, and too many players sometimes drop off their performance levels throughout the full 90 minutes. If he keeps the improvement mentality going, and cuts out those not pulling their weight, things look brighter. This is why having a strong squad is so important, having the opportunity to change things if it's not working. A word about Fernandes' outside of the right peg ball to Rashford. This is becoming a delightful habit. Glorious! So far, so good. Come on you Reds!

@@philiegolf48 True. Most of them keep saying that ETH is unproven even though he single-handedly took Ajax to UCL's semi-final. They said, it was Ajax golden generation is the reason why they made it to the semi-final and now Ajax 4th in the league and his successor just got sacked! It's always been ETH and now we can see the result at United. If he had Boehly's type of backing at United, United are probably at the top of the table and much more exciting. Unfortunately, he had to work with what he currently have.

He wrote a great critique on the stupid habits of modern footballers in a book called "Heroes, Hairbands and Hissy Fits: Chappers' History of Modern Football". That was in 2010; little did he know it would get far worse real quickly.

First time I’ve trusted a United team in years… I’m so happy that we have Erik Ten Hag as our manager, he has that winning mentality, he demands total control, he’s a perfectionist and demands the best, and he’s a refreshingly stark contrast to the yes-man Ole, or if I’m honest any manager we’ve had since Sir Alex… If you’d have told me we’d have been where we are at the start of the season I’d have laughed, but top 4 (dare I say it.. top 3?) and the chance to win a few trophies? I’d have taken that at the start of the season after last season no questions asked, and I think the majority of us United fans would’ve too. Roll on the 26th!

And how do we know Poch wouldn't have done better? Let's not get carried away here. ETH has done well but he's also been hammered by City and Brentford, as well as losing to the likes of Villa. He's done a good job, not a great job. Poch could have taken them to the top of the league or they could be in mid table under him, we simply don't know. As it is, ETH gets a 7/10 so far.

@@racelox because he couldn't even dominate with Messi, Mbappe & Neymar in his team. He couldn't win the Ligue 1 in his first season, he failed to reach a Champions league final. He won nothing at Spurs. And he's generally just a softie compared to ETH. He would've backed down vs Ronaldo. Brentford have beaten every Top team so that was forgivable. City are the defending champions then went & added The best striker in the world to their team. And we still managed 3 goals, so it's not like we just laid down.

As a United fan I just love seeing Roy smile about Manchester United, Ten Hag is a genius remember it was only the fans that wanted Ten Hag the media and all the ex players were on Pochettino gravy train. What he has done with owners like the Glazers and the squad he inherited is just remarkable it has taken 10 years but I can say we have finally found the Fergie replacement.

Ten Hag, is appearing to be like the 2nd coming of Sir Alex. I have never had so much confidence in our manager since Sir Alex retired, than I have with Ten Hag. I have a feeling over the years to come, that he will be considered a legend in the history of our club.

We've had good managers but we've not had the right manager. Klopp might've turned us around and Ten Hag has turned us around but I wouldn't count on other geat managers like Pochettino or Guardiola getting the same success at our club. It takes a special type of manager to do what Ten Hag has done.

I like the fact that no matter what the result js ten hag always sees room for improvement and also doesnt go in the whole overexcited mood but has his mind basically already on the next match as soon as this one finishes. Good mentality and you see it in the players.
