I wonder if the sable and white Rough Collie was provided by Rudd Weatherwax, the owner / breeder of ALL the dogs that portrayed 'Lassie', across the years ? The markings are right ! I'll have to pay attention to the end titles to see if he's given credit. :)

A hum-dinger of a traditional Republic Western. A shame that the color was so faded. The Trucolor Westerns were supposed to be beautifully done. Don't underestimate the acting. These people were very good at what they did.
