Liam, looking back at all the vids you’ve posted, forget the smartass comments, I think you’ve recorded a period in our history which I find fascinating and we’ll never witness again. Also, watching some of your other vids you’ve got this ability to ‘blend’ in with the proceedings where many would fail miserably thus giving us all access to the true characters behind the larger than life personalities. I realise as you get older how important it is to record life and I’m really pleased you have as some of these guys aren’t with us any longer. Thank you.
@LiamGalvinFilm4 жыл бұрын
That's a really nice comment - i think the whole point of filming people is to find out about them - it's not about me so I've tried to do exactly as you say 'blend in' - hopefully my film stuff is interesting to people & I appreciate you watching cheers

@NYHC1000 Einstein's theories were of great influence to the development of the A bomb. I'm not sure exactly how much damage and devastation Roy Shaw could cause but it's probably not comparable with Hiroshima. Also, it's been said that 2 out of 3 times a Lenny McLean can stop a Roy Shaw but had the Japanese attempted to use McLean to defend Nagasaki the result would have been much the same.

Modern London is so fucked up. I'd rather it was still dominated by people like this and the Krays, rather than today's moped gangs, foreign mafias, Yardies, and "innit bruv" roadmen (with names like Martell and Dushayne) barely out of short trousers who shoot each other over a 50p drug debt or a stolen bike and don't care about innocent people getting caught in the crossfire. Serious crime is rife all across London these days. In those days, you didn't really notice too much unless you were directly involved.

I ain't gonna speak ill of Roy Shaw as I said earlier in the comments I never new him and he is passed away. What I will say is the doorman in question - Lee Chapman is certainly no mug and a very very capable man, Lee was a decent Judo player and also a decent strongman competitor. In his peak he was easily 22 stone , I have heard as much as 27 stone of muscle not fat. Plus I have seen him in action and despite being a unit of a man he was extremely fast . They say never judge a book by it's cover ........ But if people commenting saw Lee walking down the street I think they may think differently. There are always 2 sides to a story
