@@zerodarkthirty1045 Not quite IMO. It appears to not be carrying any AMRAAMs under the fuselage, just a couple of ASRAAM missiles on the outer wing pylons for air to air combat. I guess they don't think the air threat level is very high.

One of my favourite aircraft 👍🏻 they make the inflight refuelling look easy but i bet it’s a daunting prospect the first few times!

Drive it through the basket, incredible stuff by the poms! Those canards are great for high G stuff but what a twitchy beast it is in fine adjustments.

The eurofighter is actually unbelievably hard to fligh below mach speeds. It needs a ton of computer assisted steering, like the b2 does.

Yeah, saw a trainee raf f35 pilot training for mid air refueling, and he kept missing, and bumped into it.

F-35 is replacing Tornado GR.4 and Harrier rather than these Typhoons.

F 35 is intended to operate alongside these. Ignoring the carriers and focusing just on land the f35 will use its stealthy design to take on the jobs the typhoons can't until ground based defences are reduced to the point the typhoons can operate.
