I still remember when my dad said "hey I heard this song on the radio on my way home, I think it was called little monster or something, you should check it out". I now own both of their albums and am eagerly awaiting the next one.

@@olivermiller8943 I think the sound of the lads is interesting because of the minimalism: they sound so loud with so little gear. I think a guitar would be overkill. By the way, King has a piano section, which sounds very cool. But it's just a bit.

Just watching the full set on iplayer. Amazing how Mike gets a bass guitar to sound like more than one guitar player is on stage. Ben on the drums legend already.

@@damianjohn5995 Nope. the output of the bass is split between two amplifiers so there is a bass tone and a guitar tone coming out of two amplifiers. It makes it sound bigger and gives the illusion of a bass and a guitar player

bruh are you serious, this is their third fucking album, do you think this just means that their original sound is gone forever, they're just trying something totally different while keeping technical rock drums, and mike's amazing riffs, which is absolutely the right thing to do at this point, not only is it the perfect step to take in a different direction to reach a broader audience, but gives og fans what we want to, which is mainly mike's riffs, good vocals, and ben's badass drums

Typhoons is Royal Blood’s equivalent of Led Zeppelin 3. Not they’re original sound but it still sounds great. Who knows what they’re fourth album will bring, maybe a blend of the two

6 years later after seeing them i'm still fascinated that they have no guitarists and mike uses a series of effect and combination of bass and guitar amps in order to create the sound of a bass and multiple guitars
