I can't believe that guys with beautiful vintage motorcycles like this don't have a crash bars. They fit in the period and protect the bike from damage. I run them on all of my motorcycles except for my dirt bikes.

Hoping that the owner appreciates all of the work that you've done to bring this back to almost new condition. Fantastic job. Well done.

G'day Paul, you have done a wonderful job on the Royal Enfield, had a good ride on my c1956 BSA Road Rocket 🚀 today and always happy 😁 when a classic motorcycle gets me home, cheers mate, Neil 🤠.

I did wonder ifyou'd mention the double front brakes which were always one of my favourite features of mine. Another unsual Enfield thing - commoner in Italy but I can't think of another British bike with the setup

I think Bob McIntyre raced one of these in the annual 500 mile race at Thruxton back in the day but didn’t have much luck, one year a con rod snapped, and another year I think the petrol tank split.

Yes, I restored that very machine, some years ago - here is a clip of me riding it ... kzfaq.info/get/bejne/e96JiJRjtb_QYoU.html It is on display at the Sammy Miller Museum these days, with no mention of my name, as I understand it.

Lovely looking sweet sounding motorcycle. Appreciate your opinion on the rev counter but it’s not for me, I feel it spoils the aesthetics of an otherwise majestic looking old machine, but, of course, as they say, it’s not my bike.

That rev counter bracket is not correct as original factory made,it was mounted on a bracket, but it was attached via a bolt fixing into an adapted chrome blanking slotted screw that fits in the to of the nacelle, drilled& tapped 1/4 Bsf,/cycle thread through the centre 👍

What you describe is what it has, if you look closely. All the components were ordered from the parts list from Hitchcocks, the parts are correct.

Nice looking bike but I can imagine that if you go over the bars that Rev Counter could hurt.
