I have both and re makes more sense because in an adventure bike you don't need high pickup insted of that you need durability and it is less expensive than ktm and maintenance is also lesser than ktm but breaking is not that much good I think because of its weight.

@@gokulduddela6358 Thats the lamest thing i heard today. I had driven Himalayan from guwahati assam through, tawang, gochela pass upto china border. And i had zero issues and no back pain. Its a beast riding standing up. You dnt need to shift up gear for lower rpm. 1st and 2nd gear is really tall and can easly chuck through any terrain off road. it doent stall at lower rpm like 390 adv. It has better torque than duke 250 which is in same price range and better offroading performance than 390 adv. Torque at lower rpm is what matters off the road. On road it was giving me 120 cruising speed. I dnt care if it takes 5 secs less to reach that speed. I am not a wannabe racer. So bro chill 😁😁

Personally i feel that ktm should upgrade their 375cc engine. Current one having too high compression ratio(12.6:1) that it heats up very quickly and due to oversquare engine heat dissipation isn't good either.thus it affect on performance, efficiency and reliability in long run.

@@TonyB094 4 wheels move the body but 2 wheels move the soul. Also it's a pain in the ass to drive a monstrous 4x4 on narrow mountain roads. 2 wheeler is much more enjoyable if you don't mind the weather. Plus you get to enjoy the scenery more and feel connected on a 2 wheeler.

@@ellavanr632 She didn't sell anything. The one she bought in India and rode to Netherlands cannot be ridden anymore cuz it doesn't comply with the emission norms there. Then she bought another one in Netherlands to ride from Argentina to Alaska. She rode that from Argentina to Peru and had to leave it behind in Peru cuz she was being airlifted after corona started. She will get that back to netherlands. The third one is a Honda CB500x which she rode to Iceland and back.

Im using bs3 from past 2andhalf years still it works smooth...it has never put me in trouble on middle of the highway. Bs3 is so good and definitely bs6 is much much imporved

The power is spread in the low and mid range instead of top end because that's preferred in offroad riding. Unlike the case of the 390 ADV where you have to rev the nuts out of the motor to get that power to the wheels while offroading and that is not at all preferred as things can take an ugly turn any second

Stalling issue on a cold start is a common problem with the himalayan bs6.. RE usually fixes it in the first service with a software upgrade or something

Hi, Great information. Nice to see you test drive on Palm Beach road, close to me. What is the maximum stable vibration free speed? Does the engine overheat? How would you compare Himalayan BS6 with Dominar 400 interms of maintenance cost, durability, comfort, vibration free speed limit and engine over heating. Shall be great if you can voice your opinion as I am confused between these 2 options. Thanks.

Himalayan is an offroader and 390 is actually an cruiser but ktm say it's an offroader it doesn't have any quality of an offroader mean's why there is alloy wheel in an offroader

Indian Rides are 95% road and rarely 5% off-road and you get performance , saftey , tech features and a good tourer in 390Adv. Turn by turn navigation, MTC, Off road Abs , lean angle abs makes your ride so safe and I feel no vibration at 150kmph on my 390. If you got the budget go for 390Adv no doubt.

Hey guyz, i heard it all... I am so confident of clipping this brute on the highway, with my Karizma... Both in accln and top speed...and regarding full tank range, yes... 17 yrs ago itself, it had a 15 ltr fuel tank... So guyz, don't underestimate your Karizma.. whether the R or the ZMR version... It's still a grt bike around... Have a nice touring blast with add on saddle bags and a few bungee cords👍

Faisal there has been a new problem with bs6 Himalayan as there are lots of complaints with this strolling , as it strolls when the revs go below 1350rpm
