Trick with those bog holes is to go fast and let your momentum carry you through, works most times. I suppose calling those muddy tracks Green Lanes is based on the same wishful thinking as the Norse calling an ice covered island Greenland.

Nick, all Himalayan's from 2021 have switchable abs. Just press the button next to the fuel guage for 5 seconds and the rear abs gets switched off 🙂

Fairly new to laneing too. Tricks I've learn't so far is standing up keeps the centre of gravity lower and allows the bike to find its own path. And, 'power through' the 'tricky bits' rather than going fast.

When at this conditions is no Mud on the Windscreen you are to slow Nick. But do your self a favour with 3 things. Don´t Stop if you don´t need to, an tiny bit faster and buy yourself some goddam MX boots and like the Cool Kids the Bundeswehr Gore Tex Trouser because the british one is in that case garbage and i never found a better one in cheap. Second best would be the Austrian one. And don´t let them fool you you can get them 15€ upwards expensive is only the Jacket. Colour Sucks but it holds really dry. 24/7

More power, get churning and 'dab' if you lose traction. This particular trail is one I know too well as its my 'practice route'. Better boots are definitely needed too, that will help you feel more in control. Otherwise, you did well. Word of warning however, where the tree is, I once encountered a s#?& Load of wild cows. Just heed caution with them as they are.... Chasey.... Lol.
