Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is a cruiser bike available at a starting price of Rs. 1,60,364 in India. It is available in 3 variants and 8 colours with top variant price starting from Rs. 1,79,533. The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is powered by 349cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 20.2 bhp and a torque of 27 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, Royal Enfield Hunter 350 comes up with anti-locking braking system. This Hunter 350 bike weighs 181 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 13 liters.
TVS Ronin is a cruiser bike available at a starting price of Rs. 1,80,835 in India. It is available in 3 variants and 6 colours with top variant price starting from Rs. 2,03,056. The TVS Ronin is powered by 226cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 20 bhp and a torque of 19.93 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, TVS Ronin comes up with anti-locking braking system. This Ronin bike weighs 160 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 14 liters.

This doesn't mean tvs has made it, they are compared because they are similarly priced. I took a test drive of Ronin yesterday and to be honest, this bike is just Neo Retro looking Rtr 200 4v with better sounding exhaust.

Ronin could have beaten the RE only if you've held the 4th gear for a little longer. you shifted 5th gear on 104Kmph. You should've held 4th gear till atleast120KMPH.

@Sanjay SK It doesn't matter because to be fair, service of every two wheeler manufacturer(Excluding Honda maybe) here in Bangalore is horrendous and RE stands at the top of that list. Given RE's history of providing terrible terrible parts, TVS is relatively better! P.S: Laughing at someone else's possible misfortune isn't a great thing to do! 😄

CC has nothing to do with speed. It's about the stability of the machine. KTM with 200 gives more speed than RE 350, but lacks in stability.

But interms of reliability and quality of the parts used, Ronin is an absolute winner. Ronin is an allrounder, whereas you can get RE only to show off for it's badge. In my opinion it's not worth it.

Ronin is in urban mode, change that too sport as rpm and top speed, both are restricted on urban mode, horse power is also restricted in urban mode, so overall the race wasn't conducted fairly for ronin

Brother Ronin only has two riding modes. Rain mode and urban mode that's why it's in urban mode and anyhow in Ronin both modes have the same power it only affects abs sensitivity.

Everything is perfect...But spare parts availability for tvs bikes becoming nightmare now...Even apache spare is not available 8n showrooms and long waiting period..For changing a cable you may have to wait weeks or months is not acceptable...ronin is available only in premium showrooms and service only in same showroom so definitely buying a tvs product even if it's too good is not a wise decision according to me..Currently using Jupiter scooter and even spares for Jupiter is not available easily lol..

-shorter wheelbase. -same 17 inch wheels for rear and front -sharp rake angle. these features are meant for street and day-to-day commuting. of course you can tour if you want to.

Bike enthusiastic, I have a logical doubt. Since a 125cc bike can reach 110kmph as max speed, why can't a 225cc bike can reach 200kmph as max speed? Here I am seeing it is reaching 135/140kmph max. The difference is only ~30kmph compare to 125cc engines. So can we say, here more energy is spending only for torque? 🤔

bike is providing max power and torque on lower rpm that why initial is good but top speed isn't very good. bikes that provide max power at highter RPM normally have more top speed.
