Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X Overview
The Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X offers a host of features that are first-of-its-kind on a Royal Enfield like - new matte black alloy wheels instead of wire-spoked wheels, tubeless tyres, and a matte black silencer. The bikes also come with a new handlebar, black casing for the projector headlamps and LED taillamps and a new one-piece seat instead of the split seats from the standard Thunderbird.
Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X Engine
The Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X gets the 346 cc single-cylinder engine which is air-cooled 19.8 bhp at 5,250 rpm and peak torque output of 28 Nm at 4,000 rpm and mated to a five-speed gearbox.

This was the only issue I thought about from the very first day after I saw 350X. Other RE models have very firm and strong cluster and headlamp.

I have a TBX as well., Got that instrument cluster clamp replaced twice within first 10 months. When I asked the service centre about this, they said it is a design flaw in this model

I had this exact same problem in my tb350 between a long ride. Using the electric tape that I always pack for trips in case of emergency, I tied with the handlebars. The cables held very strongly! After I reached the destination, I went to a local weld shop and got the plate welded for just 50 rs and very easily. Of all the issues I have with the bike this is the smallest issue I ever had with the bike😆... it isn't a triumph, and I live near the beach, rusting is inevitable.

Also with the simple weld, it is much stronger too! If u keep replacing it with OEM then it will continue to break, u must strengthen it.

आपको नही लगता ये ओवर हो गया, मेरे साथ 4 साल में एक बार हुआ था , नए प्लेट के नीचे एक छोटा सा प्लेट वेल्डिंग करवा दिया, अभी 53000km चल चुका पर ठीक है ।।। सिर्फ मेकैनिक के ऊपर डिपेंड रहेंगे तो RE वाले हर 2सर्विस में लूटेंगे, थोड़ा खुद सीखिए ।।

Cruiser hain bhai...khadde mein jaise daal raha hain bike toh waise toh shock-absorbers mein bhi problem aa jayenge....jara pyar se chalayion..

Ye khali 350x ki nahi purani Thunderbird Mai bhi problem thi I asked RE y don't they build a heavy bracket (plate) the engineer told me agar Ham isko jyada heavy banaa denge to yah metre ke Nake Tod dega which is more expensive Thora soft metal plate banane se vibration absorber kar leta hai

Maine 2 Saal main, 2 plates change karwa chuka hu😅. 150Rs ki plate hai par tour pe ye ho jaye toh bohot dimag kharab hota hai. Ye plate humesha RE ke service center pe milegi kyu ki unko bhi malum hai ke ye plate easily toot jaati hai. So, Agli baar ye plate tooti toh, sidha 3mm ki custom cut plate laga dunga. I suggest you do the same.

Mera bhi tut gaya tha... Lekin maine gas welding karaya... ab wo co.wale se bhi tagra bangaya... Maine bhi naya kharid liya tha speedometer claim Rs 88 main but wo welding wla hi kaam chal raha hain

Same problem and same solution I got it welded in Goa and completed 2 more long rides better strength than original, also can use some kind of padding with soft material under the cluster for extra stability.

Aabe dhakan vibration se break hotaa hai ....tuzhe double plate daalke puraa set thoda bend karke... bike key ke jage pe attached karna padegaa taaki vibration naa ho..wapis kabhi nahi tutegaa
