I agree with RADTECDEFENCE Britain this is only a 6.5 hp engine so the maximum it can give out for any length of time would be 3000 watts. If you run more than this you will burn out the AVR very quickly and the alternator might catch fire/short.

Notice the red lamps on the heaters dim when at more than 3000W. Also the engine RPM dropped, could not output 50Hz anymore. What was the AC voltage during test? If the voltage dropped, e.g. to 150V, the actual power was only 2553W.

that 15HP sticker is a fake real is 6.5HP i saw that same generator but different name when the owner show the engine i see 6.5HP in engine but in the fuel tank is 15HP

Hi there! No we don't lose power very often. Once in 5 years or something. Just prepping :-) Our power grid is mostly based in the ground, only the high voltage goes over the land. Do you save enough gas to run the generator for a week or something or just for one day? Cheers

I have a 130o Watt version. Forget the badge engineering, they are made in China, The first thing you need to understand is that the do not generate sine wave AC . The have two pole alternator and smoothing capacitor across the outlet supply. This means they cannot safely run any mains electronic device. If you just want to run a sander or drill in a remote location they are fine. Otherwise forget it.. Also never, ever run one without a earth lead connected to a rod driven into the ground, If you want to run AC into a home you need the inverter controlled version, which is much more expensive. Incidentally , most repair shops don't want to know about them, as spares are difficult to find.

You are right, the oil goes in the hole where also the dipstick is placed. 0,6 liters of oil in my case, that's the same amount as the instruction manual tells you to add. Please let me know how your generator works!

Same as a swiss kraft, krafttech eo. Has a 6 bhp somewhat engine, 3x 230v 1000w and 400v 1500w. But for a short peripde you would be fine running a bit more. :)

Very nice, must have been expensive. I bought a cheap "work site" generator. It does the job when the power goes out. Luckily my neighbors are farther away than yours! Do you often lose power? We have many, many large trees and the recent few years of weird weather has been kicking the ass of the electric grid.

You wonder if the company would sell just as many units of this size, if they stickered them with honest figures, such as about 6.5 HP and 2500ish constant output watts. The poor thing began to struggle when the third 1kw load was added. When it had 4, 5, & 6kw load on, it was a losing battle. Like all these generic chinese genny's, they're ok when used within their limits. Lets hope the AVR was'nt damaged with this load. Some of these units, with a decent spark plug and regular oil changes and maintainence can last a suprisingly long time.

Turn the left knob to full on the heaters.

Not for continued use in half charge level or higher. His head (stator) burn easily.

Hopefully I don't have to use it but I am prepared for a total power loss in the Country :-) Cheers man!

all of u making comments are saying the output was 3kw assuming each fan is 1 kw max... read the intro on the vid these are 2kw fans... so he was assuming a max with the three fans of 6 kw... now start ur comments again cus most of you have it wrong by 50 per cent

FAKE - The Sticker might say 15HP but the motor definately is not. Even the neons dim when you put the heaters on full. So the voltage is dropping by a lot. AND IT ISN'T SILENT (sorry I had to shout)

What a shit and cheap generator. It's heavily overloaded and unstable. The diodes and AVR Will burn out so quickly. The engine and frame is severely unbalanced with ridiculous vibration. People see these on eBay and buy them because they are cheap. Non serviceable and frankly a waste or money
